Abstract: The frequency that extreme events appear in the life is low,but once it appears, the impact will be significant; many scholars have conducted in depth research and found that statistical theory of extreme value. The theory of extreme statistics plays a more and more important role in many fields such as automatic control, assembly line etc. This paper, makes an in-depth research towards the characteristics and parameter estimation of the extreme value statistical models,as well as the application, mainly analyzes the Bayes parameter estimation method of extreme value distribution, the extreme value distribution theory and Copula function random vector model.

Abstract: Nowadays it is possible to reduce energy consumption without losing comfort as a result of using efficient energy saving technologies and advanced environment control methods for buildings. One of the measures to improve energy performance of buildings can be installation of decentralized air intake and exhaust mechanical ventilation systems with plate heat exchangers in apartments making it possible to «return» up to 85% of thermal energy. The article deals with the decentralized system controlled ventilation with heat recovery and alternative solutions heating supply air in residential buildings.

Abstract: Transition to a new approach related to use of facades and roofs entirely made of glass in pavilions car showrooms construction called for an additional analysis to evaluate an issue of how to ensure an interior climate. There was a need to have solutions generalized and systematized with the aim to ensure human comfort in pavilions with large glazed areas in facades and roofs. Exhibition pavilions car showrooms based on translucent structures were taken for consideration. General data concerning temperature conditions for the rooms and internal glazing surfaces of pavilions car showrooms based on translucent structures are stated herein. Pertinent information for glazing design is given with due account for winter maintenance conditions in regard to the pavilions car showrooms having significant areas of façade or roof glazing.

Abstract: Reliable construction and maintenance of buildings and structures based on weak and highly-compressive soils are closely related to artificial methods of how to prepare for foundation works. And changing a layer of weak soil in deformed foundation with a compacted soil bed consisted of various strong materials (sand, gravel, pebble-gravel, slag, production waste materials and others) can be considered as one of efficient methods. With the existing calculation methods used the dimensions of compacted beds quite often appear to be overestimated, and this results in increase in costs and working hours needed to build artificial foundation. It is more rational to create highly compacted and reinforced soil beds. The article deals with the general outcomes of experimental and theoretical research on design and foundation works of these beds which give evidence of their efficiency and explicit possibilities to expand fields of application.

Abstract: At present time translucent structures have appeared to be the most crucial issues regarding building envelopes in relation to high heat losses in the cold periods of the year. Development of the methods to improve thermal properties of translucent structures is considered to be an up-to-date issue. Heat losses of exhibition halls with varied dimensions ratio and energy consumption of heating systems have been determined for the case of the city of Saint-Petersburg (Russia)

Abstract: The article considers the ways of solar photovoltaic installation into a number of electrical systems. The optimization of the parameters of such systems, based on the example of an independent consumer (Nehaj fortress, Montenegro), has been carried out. The configuration of systems which are based on the results of both calculations, using one energy source (solar/diesel plant) and using a combination, is proposed in the article. The capital cost of the equipment has been estimated together with the cost of maintenance and parts replacement as well as the total discounted costs over the operation of the system.

Abstract: The work presented deals with the experiance of the architectural form related to its function, which is one of permanently open questions in the architectural theory. Various practical situations are considered, in which the architectural form meets its relation towards the function happening within the construction. That range could go from the extremely simplified relation we recognize as in famous phrase „form follows the function“, to the absolute incoherence of the facade from the activities that are performed inside the construction. The influences of these relations on cognitive processes of the observer are considered, as well as the important elements that affect them.

Abstract: Transition to a new approach related to use of facades and roofs entirely made of glass in building construction called for an additional analysis to evaluate an issue of how to ensure an interior climate. In the article have been investigated the factors, which make people feel uncomfortable in the pavilions with large glazing areas: cold air flow near glazing area, which occurs on the cold surfaces of the windows, going down and along the floor, radiation heat exchange between human beings and building envelopes, condensation on internal glazing surfaces.

Abstract: All-Russian and regional exhibition architecture in the second half of the 19th century through the early 20th century had varied distinct differences in style and design. Temporality of exhibition architecture in those days contributed to a variety of experiments made for pavilions in the context of styles and structures. There was a high demand for the Russian style to be applied for pavilions both in Russia and abroad. First search and application experience in respect to the modern art principles are connected with exhibition architecture. These experiments in the national architecture and art are of a high interest. Neo-classicism was applied in exhibition architecture in the early 20th century to a large extent. The exhibitions of the early 20th century appeared to be special ‘style workshops’. Organizers of certain exhibitions tried to keep uniformity of style of basic constructions. The major merit of exhibition architecture is that it contributed to the transition from eclecticism to a new style on the cusp of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries.

Abstract: This article deals with integration of a wind power plant (WPP) into the power system in the settlement of Amderm (in the case of the Kara Sea coast). An optimal arrangement of a wind–diesel power plant to ensure an uninterrupted and reliable power supply (WDPP) and cost reduction is considered herein as well.
