Abstract: Electrolysis-assisted flocculation methods were used in decoloration of azophloxine. Electrolysis-assisted flocculation of azophloxine was conducted under the applied potential using titanium anode. The concentration of KNO3, flocculating time and applied potential were investigated. The application of applied potential has nearly no power to remove the dye from wastewater since the highest decoloration rate is only 2.5% after treatment at KNO3 concentration of 0.6 mol/L. The total flocculating decoloration efficiency decreases gradually after increasing the KNO3 concentration in the solution. When the applied potential is 7 V, the maximum electrolysis-assisted flocculating decoloration rate is 52.3%. When the electrolysis-assisted flocculating time is 5 min, the maximum decoloration rate is 54.2%.

Abstract: A novel chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) of Bisphenol A (BPA) with the acridinium ester of NSP-SA-NHS-labeled has been developed. In this study, BVA and NSP-SA-NHS had been coupled with BSA, the UV spectrum results indicated the conjugates which were successfully synthesized. Basing on these luminescence data the inhibition curve of BPA was established, then the linear arrang of the curve was between 0.4 ng/ml and 5 ng/ml, the 50% inhibitory concentration (IC50) was 2.3ng/ml, the lowest limit of detection was 0.1ng/ml, which showed it’s an efficient and highly sensitive method.

Abstract: Ionic Liquids is called also room temperature molten salt, its performance is mainly dependent on composition of cation and anion, and through molecular design the adjustment. And the traditional organic solvent, water, supercritical fluid and chemical reaction than solvent, ionic liquid in the following several aspects to show its prominent advantages. N-heptyl-pyridine tetrafluoroborate is prepared by the double decomposition reaction of HEPB and NaBF4. The ionic liquid at room temperature used in the experiment has a significant absorption determined by UV spectrum within the range of 200-400nm, the maximum absorption wavelength of HEP-BF4 ionic liquid in acetonitrile is 240nm. The standard working curve of HEP-BF4 ionic liquid is y=0.04518+0.03124X (R=0.99963). The linear range of HEP-BF4 ionic liquids in the acetonitrile is 1-75 mg/L. The recovery rate of HEP-BF4 ionic liquid which is between 95.9% and 102%, is measured by standard addition method in acetonitrile.

Abstract: Ionic liquids combine a set of proper ties like non-flammability, non-volatility, high ionic density and intrinsically high ionic conductivity; they also behave as good solvents for various chemical and electrochemical processes. These attributes make them appealing as alternative materials to replace conventional solvents, wherefore the interest in ionic liquid based materials for diverse electrochemical devices has boosted in the last few decades. The halogenated hydrocarbon and pyridine are used in the preparation of room temperature ionic liquid intermediates bromided N-octyl pyridine OPB, and the intermediate infrared spectrometer are used in chemical structure characterization, so it is determined that the product is the room temperature ionic intermediates OPB. Infrared spectrometer for the structure characterization is used, it is proved that OP-BF4 room temperature ionic liquid has been gotten. Both solvent polarity and acid alkali have an influence on ultraviolet spectrum diagram displacement of room temperature ionic liquid. If the ultraviolet spectrum diagram of ionic liquids and other solvent mixed solution is studied, it is necessary to indicate which solvent is used.

Abstract: Ionic liquids have been attracting extraordinary attention for their unique properties, such as high ionic conductivity, negligible vapor pressure, and high thermal and electrochemical stability, which have made their varied applications in organic chemistry, material science, chemical engineering, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry and biotechnology. N-octyl-pyridine tetrafluoroborate is prepared by the double decomposition reaction of OPB and NaBF4. The ionic liquid at room temperature used in the experiment has a significant absorption determined by UV spectrum within the range of 200-400nm, the maximum absorption wavelength of OP-BF4 ionic liquid in ethanol is 243nm. The standard working curve of OP-BF4 ionic liquid is y=0.0322+0.01542X (R=0.99962). The linear range of OP-BF4 ionic liquids in the ethanol is 1-75 mg/L. The recovery rate of OP-BF4 ionic liquid which is between 96.8% and 101%, is measured by standard addition method in ethanol.

Abstract: A donor/acceptor/donor-type benzoselenadiazole-incorporated monomer was synthesized. The procedure described herein offer several advantages, including high product yields, easy purification and large scale production. Optical properties of the resulting compounds were examined by means of UV-vis and fluorescence spectroscopies. The fluorescence spectra exhibit that the emission maxima of material at 419 nm belongs to blue light region.

Abstract: Novel rigid dendrimer containing cross-conjugated units are synthesized from the coupling of 2-thiophene-based dendron with 5,8-dibromo-2,3-dithienylquinoxaline. The new monomer 2,3,5,8-tetrathienylquinoxaline has been successfully synthesized with moderate yield over five steps. The structure of the monomer was determined by H-NMR and C-NMR technologies. And the optical characterization of the monomer was also determined by the UV-vis and fluorescence spectrometer. The monomer has a high absorption peak at 206 nm and high emission peak at 430 nm. The monomer was freely soluble in variety of organic solvent, such as chloroform and acetonitrile.

Abstract: A photochromic diarylethene was synthesized and explored, The compound shown good photochromic behavior. When irradiated with UV light. the compound changed from colorless to violet, which showed a relatively strong fluorescence switch along with the photochromism from open-ring isomer to closed-ring isomer.
