Abstract: Gas monitor system based on wireless sensor network technology and ZigBee overtakes
the limitation of traditional system that the situation in mine is unknown in time. With this system, the security manager can real-time monitor the gas density of multi-location .Compared with traditional system, this system is portable and extensible and it also has advantage of physical size and power consumption. This paper describes both the whole system architecture and the structure of single node. The results show that the system is safe, stable and guarantee the security of miners.

Abstract: Denitration catalyst defect detection based on image processing plays a vital role in automated inspection of product quality. In this paper, we propose a defect detection algorithm based on image processing to inspect the cellular denitration catalyst. In pre-processing, Hough transform, morphological processing and connected component labeling are used to find the defect location. In the process of defect categories recognition, the Hu moments combined with geometrical features are used. Besides, support vector machine classifier is trained to detect the defect categories. The proposed algorithm shows high defect recognition accuracy achieving 96% overall.

Abstract: Based on the frequency measurement principle, an embedded RLC measurement module was designed in this paper. By the RC oscillator circuit and LC three-point oscillator circuit, the R, L, C analog parameters can be converted into a digital frequency for single-chip computer processing, according to the relationship between a function of frequency and component parameters, the RLC components corresponding parameter values is calculated. Experimental results showed that the RLC module has an automatic conversion range, high precision, enabling network connections and so on. It can be applied to management and fault monitoring and forecasting power transmission lines, oil and gas pipelines and submarine cables and other important public facilities.

Here, this paper proposes a new method for measuring crack length, namely in the case of a known load, according to the strain on the front end face of the three point bending specimen would be to get crack length.

Abstract: Dynamically monitoring of rainfall information plays an important role in flood control. In order to change the backward state of past when forecasting rainfall only by the artificial, to improve the prediction accuracy, to measuring speed, and to expand the scope and measuring content forecast, after having got the depth understanding of technology development of the rainfall monitoring at home and abroad, a remote rainfall monitoring system which based on GPRS is designed. The system is mainly composed of three parts: rainfall data acquisition terminal, communication part and data processing platform. Through the field test, the system has the advantages of simple operation, stable and reliable work, fast and efficient, having broad application prospects.

Abstract: As for the severe situation of mine water hazard in our country, it is extremely urgent to find ways of preventing and managing mine water hazard. This paper proposes a design of system which adopts fluorescence detecting technology and uses SOPC as the core control module, it can quickly detect the changes of mine water hazard source.This system collects signal of fluorescence produced in laser irradiation of water, and turns it into electric signal which is later be collected by ADC and then sends the digital data into FPGA for storing and managing. SOPC is designed in QuartusIIsoftware, and program code is designed in NiosIIsoftware, which will finally be downloaded into FPGA. A test of data collecting, handling and storing is carried out in the lab to verify the feasibility of the system. The results show that the system can efficiently detect the changes of mine water hazard source.

Abstract: This paper proposes a kind of design and implementation method for rice lesion identification system, which includes the hardware structure and lesion recognition application software. This system applies DSP as the core, image coding chip of TVP5147, external cameras, together with the application software to identify the rice lesion. The experiments illustrate the system has better performance.
