Abstract: This is a report on the performance of 4 types of cool roof system through field tests. Cool roof means solar protection on roof surface [1]. The tested systems were solar cells as a shading device, several types of thermal insulation paint as heat reflectors, a rooftop garden as an outside thermal insulator on a roof and a water pond on a roof as a coolant with sensible heat and evaporation. The test results indicated obvious temperature difference between the cool roof and the ordinary surface. The heat flux was calculated from the results to estimate the cooling load saving. Finally, these results were examined from the viewpoint of cost performance.

Abstract: Make full use of natural light is the best way to realize building lighting energy saving. More application value data can be got from the annual dynamic perspective to analysize office building daylighting. This paper first introduces the international new daylighting evaluation standard and related research tool. And then through the computer simulation method to calculate the UDI value of three kinds of sunshade scenes in different toward room. Finally, on the basis of comparison of UDI to different scenes, this paper finds that south, east and west to the room can get wider effective daylighting area by using dynamic curtain.

Abstract: The thermal performance of perforated brick is affected by various factors, thermal conductivity, the holes rates, the pass design and etc. included. In order to analyze the impact of the pass design on the thermal performance of bidirectional thermal insulation bricks, the two-dimensional finite element model was developed using ANSYS. The simulated result shows that existence of vertical holes can enhance the thermal resistance in the longer dimension of the perforated brick. Under the condition of the same holes rates, narrowing the width of the vertical holes helps to improve the thermal resistance in the shorter dimension of the perforated brick. The function of these blocks are extremely influenced by the distribution of the vertical holes, the concentrated better than the both-sided when it comes to advancing the whole function.

Abstract: The basic characteristics of recycled coarse aggregate are completely tested. Crushed the waste concrete through artificial crushing, configured recycled concrete by reference to the mix proportion of ordinary concrete . Through experiments, recycled concrete and ordinary concrete basic properties were tested, the performance of recycled concrete with different coarse aggregate were compared, calculated the strength and amount of mold of recycled concrete; results showed that the basic properties of recycled coarse aggregate and natural aggregate existed certain differences. compared to the pebble-based recycled aggregate concrete strength can reach ordinary concrete strength, and when the new coarse aggregate and recycled coarse aggregate were the half, the strength of concrete was not high, the stress - strain curve and the ordinary concrete stress - strain curves were similar, destructive phenomenons of test cubes were close with ordinary concrete .

Abstract: Silica fume (SF) has become an environmental mineral admixture in the production of high-strength and high-performance concrete in modern concrete engineering. Through compacting all components and pozzolanic reaction, obvious mechanical enhancement of concrete is observed in the aspects of compressive strength tensile strength, elastic modulus as well as fracture toughness. Further more, durability improvement of silica fume concrete such as chloride-ion penetration resistance and chemical attack resistance are reported accordingly.

Abstract: The stress concentration factor is one of the important parameters of fatigue performance analysis of node. This article uses the ANSYS software, by which the space KKK chord shape square steel tube node stress concentration factor (SCF) is analyzed. Analyzed under three kinds of load (axial force, in-plane bending moment and out-of-plane bending moment ) ,SCF is influenced by Ƭ (branch, head of thickness ratio), β (branch, head width ratio), γ (director of generous than) of the chord and the effect of the nodes is valued in the design of selection of geometric parameters and the calculation of the fatigue performance

Abstract: In this paper, I use the finite element software abaqus to simulate the damage form of masonry walls in the case of force. Advantages and disadvantages of various simulation methods are fully considered. Masonry walls are considered homogeneous isotropic continuum, was built by using integrated model. And I adopt concrete damage model to define material properties. The results showed that the model in this paper well simulated the failure characteristics of the wall.

Abstract: HaiTa district’s underground condition is complex, fault develops, and stuck and collapse are easy to occur in the drilling duration.Formation dip is large, hole deviation is easy to take place in the drilling duration, many straightening cause worse wellbore quality and long wellbore like “big belly” and “sugarcoated haws on a stick”, hole diameter are irregular, wellbore quality are not easily guaranteed, bringing difficulty to ensure the quality of cementing engineering. For the difficulty of well cementation in this district, cement slurry in HaiTa district is ensured. This cement slurry performance is evaluated by experiment.

Abstract: The energy consumption increases rapidly with the economic development and population change. Buildings are becoming the most important energy consumption sector in Shanghai. The gross domestic product per capita in Shanghai has reached to $13,500 in 2012 and the energy consumption is also amounted to 11,000×104 ton of coal equivalent. Buildings energy consumption accounted for about 25% of the total energy consumption. Building energy saving will greatly contribute to the energy saving and environmental protection. By analyzing the trend of population growth, economic development and energy consumption and the present buildings structure and situation in Shanghai, this paper proposed the measurements of building energy saving and energy consumption reduction.

Abstract: The air filter in the course of their work will produce large vibration by the excitation source from the engine and other incentives will cause severe vibration response when the excitation frequency and its natural frequency close to shorten the life of the filter. Therefore, during the structural design must be modal analysis, its natural frequency to avoid the excitation frequency. This paper describes the application the HyperWorks right air filter of a particular model the steps of the modal analysis, its natural frequency, and the analysis and evaluation.
