Problems and Countermeasures of the Quality-Tracing Based on Lot Numbers in Manufacture

Abstract:

In order to solve the problems of quality-tracing based on Lot Numbers, the corresponding methods were proposed, including the secondary marking method to solve the traceability information loss caused by the attrition of Lot Number, the coordinated coding mechanism among upstream and downstream enterprises and data sharing mode to solve the "Lot Number Isolated Island" in the quality traceability chain, and the “van following parts” mode of inner logistics to solve the management confusion of the work-in-process parts caused by merging, splitting and mixing the batch of the parts. In addition, the feasibility, cost and constraint conditions of the methods proposed were discussed. Finally, the practicality of the research program was illustrated by the application of specific cases.
