Abstract: In order to grasp the distribution and spreading situations of heavy metal pollutants in a southern landfill site of dredged sediment, field investigation and indoor test analysis were conducted for a landfill site of river sediment in Shenzhen City. Drilling exploration and sampling were conducted in the landfill site, and test analysis was carried out for the contents and existing forms of heavy metal in the soil samples. Thus the distribution rule of heavy metal in the backfilled sediment was gained. According to the investigation and analysis results, the heavy metal pollution degree in the backfilled sediment can be determined, which will provide basis for landfill pollution assessment and control; besides, data can also be offered for back analysis on pollutant migration parameters in the soil layer.

Abstract: Considering the Impact of the current urban road traffic noise,I optimize the traffic noise monitoring points on the basis of the actual measurement data. The experimental results prove that less monitoring points may reflect the overall traffic noise level in Binzhou City.

Abstract: Incremental tendency method is used to discriminate master factors of regional environmental quality. In this article, incremental tendency method has been revised. Taken Tianjinport sea area as an example, the collation of environmental quality master factors in 2012 has been listed. It is advanced that environmental quality master factors of Tianjin port sea area are mainly inorganic nitrogen and petroleum substances, and pollution management should also be aimed at these types of substances. Finally the meaning of new model in application has been explained. It provided practical basis for sustainable development of Tianjin sea area protection.

Abstract: Based on the growth characteristic of tropical greenhouse crop and field intelligent management demands for information of temperature, humidity, gas and light, the intelligent monitoring system on tropical greenhouse crop production environment is studied and designed respectively. The system includes two parts of hardware and software. In the part of hardware, mainly expounding hardware's function and communication protocol with software. It is composed of TINY210 development board and sensors. Software includes JAVA programming language, COM communication port, communication protocol, data collection and management. Finally, the system has been tested in the laboratory and the scheme's feasibility has been validated.

Abstract: δ13C and δ15N dual stable isotope signatures were used to determine the impact of mangrove materials and other organic carbon sources to fish, crab (Scylla paramamosain) and land use communities in an ecologically significant mangrove ecosystem of Hainan Island in the southern part of China. The mean δ13C values of the leaves ranges from-36.72 to 32-89‰ suggesting that mangrove trees follow the C3 type photosynthetic pathway. The analyzed specimen on the crab was found to have δ13C and δ15N values ranging from-21.41 to-19.74‰ and 7.60 to 7.78‰ respectively, and that of fish from-12.92 to-13.02‰ and 7.01-7.53‰. Crabs showed low δ13C values as compared to the fish. The δ13C revealed that the mangrove crabs directly relied on the mangrove materials. The variation of carbon and nitrogen concentration respectively showed considerable difference in the ultimate sources of carbon and trophic level. It was observed that mangrove leaves contribute to the food sources. The land usage that contributes to pollution and the nutrient distribution reflects anthropogenic loading of nitrogen in the mangrove area. Thus, this calls for the need to conserve the mangrove ecosystem at Hainan.

Abstract: Recently, reconstruction of abandoned railroad stations and railroad beds are increasingly taking place in Korea. Soil remediation is necessary for the eco-friendly development. Soil found in abandoned railroad sites typically contaminated with heavy oils, which are low volatile petroleum products and less decomposable in nature. The objective of this study is to analyze those contaminants and contamination levels of the soils collected from an abandoned railroad bed located in Seoul, Korea. Heavy oils were extracted from contaminated soils using an organic solvent mixture of methanol and dichloromethane (1:2, v/v). Extracted solvent were analyzed qualitatively by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and qualitatively using high performance liquid chromatography. It was found that the abandoned railroad bed soil was mainly contaminated by heavy oils such as bunker C oil, which was confirmed by FT-IR spectra of petroleum oil products such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, JP-8, bunker C oil, and lubricants. Benzo [a] antracene was found from the contaminated soil and its level was as high as 11.45 mg/kg, and other polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were trivial.

Abstract: Environmental pollution caused by rural domestic wastewater has become increasingly serious. However, data on the current characteristics of rural domestic wastewater are scarce. In this study, we selected typical villages along the Tuojiang River as study objects. We analyzed the pollution status and discharge characteristics of rural domestic wastewater along the Tuojiang River through field research in winter and summer. Data analysis and collection, as well as water monitoring, were performed to determine the water quality and quantity characteristics of the rural domestic wastewater. The per capita daily discharges of rural domestic wastewater along the Tuojiang River are 11.26–50.37 L in winter and 18.39–303.57 L in summer. Both the maximum and average concentrations of pollutants in the rural domestic wastewater are higher than those in urban domestic wastewater, but the per capita daily discharge of pollutants is clearly lower in rural areas than in urban areas. The analysis of the typical discharges of rural domestic wastewater along the Tuojiang River provides a valuable reference for rural wastewater discharge treatment planning and process selection.

Abstract: This paper established a HPLC method of determining two common types of phenols endocrine disrupter (pEDCs) in municipal sewage, surface water and tap water. After the sample is filtered and distilled, the distillate is detected with HPLC-DAD, and quantified in external standard method. In the municipal sewage, surface water and tap water Bisphenol-A (BPA) and 4-octyl phenol (4-OP) are not found. The experiment result shows the linearly dependent coefficient (R2 ) is 0.9914 and 0.9870 respectively, the recovery lies between 89.7-95.6%, the limit of detection is 0.001 (S/N=4.0) and 0.010mg·L-1 (S/N=2.5) respectively. This method has a high separation efficiency and a rapid analysis speed.
