Abstract: Antibiotic residues in cosmetics can cause seriously healthy problems such as sensitization, systemic toxicity, or even death. The developments of rapid methods for multiple antibiotics detection are needed to conveniently detect out the illegal additives. In this study, a simple, cost-effective and time-saving immunoassay, multi-analyte dot enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (Multi-Dot-ELISA), for the simultaneous detection of three most common abused antibiotics (CPFX, TC, and SMD) was successfully designed and developed. Based on the competitive Multi-Dot-ELISA, real samples from 5 of 15 (33%) commercial cosmetic products were found CPFX and SMD additives which are banned in China. We demonstrate that this rapid and low-cost platform is a promising tool in human health protection.

Abstract: Soil samples were collected from school playgrounds and residential areas of children in Hubei Province, China. Total arsenic content in 2 partial fractions (0-0.25mm and 0-2mm) of soil samples were analyzed. The average total arsenic content of samples in 0-0.25 fraction were 8.43 and 9.43 mg kg-1 in rural and urban soils, respectively, while in the 0-2mm fraction, the average arsenic content were 9.09 and 11.64 mgkg-1. Risk assessment for children in these study sites implied that hazard quotient of arsenic with the reason of soil ingestion were below 1, and the carcinogenic risk was acceptable (<1.0×10−6) in all the sample sites. There was significant difference between the risk assessment with the total arsenic value in 0-0.25mm and 0-2mm fractions in urban soils. While in soil samples of rural areas, risk assessment of different soil fractions had similar results.

Abstract: In order to further study on NTM distribution in livestock of Jilin province and provide basis on NTM prevention. Isolation of NTM and the 16S rRNA gene sequences of the suspected NTM strains were identified from 1050 PPD negative tissues of livestock. In the test, 21 strains NTM were successfully identified. The total isolation rate of NTM was 2.0 %, NTM isolation rates of cattle and pigs were 1.82 % and 2.2 % respectively. Other strains were all identified successfully except 6 samples, in which 3 strains were identified as mycobacterium gilvum, 1 strains as mycobacterium vaccae, 5 strains as mycobacterium neoaurum, 3 strains as mycobacteria fortuitum and 3 strains as mycobacteria intracellular respectively. In order to formulate effective control measures and protect the health of people and animals, attention should be paid to the infection on NTM of livestock in Jilin Province and further study on its toxicity and influence should be carried out.

Abstract: Exhaust of propellant vapor in a confined space in case of forced ventilation was simulated by use of software Fluent. Calculated several situations, such as different vent position, vent number, and ventilation speed. The result shows that the lower of vent position, the more obvious the exhaust effect, and the more the vent number, the better the exhaust effect, and the higher the ventilation speed, the rapider the decrease of concentration of propellant vapor.

Abstract: Haze pollution might have a great effect on a destination’s image and might make the entire tourism industry fall into decay. In China, particularly in Beijing, pollution is extremely serious. Based on a study of Beijing using questionnaires for potential tourists, perceived health risks, perceived impacts on the tourism experience, and attitudes about the impacts of haze were explored. The results indicate that haze pollution has a considerable perceived impact on travel, and there are obvious differences among travel contents/elements and even tourism market segments. Due to its perceived impacts, haze pollution will be taken into account in tourists’ decision-making processes, causing a portion of potential tourists to cancel tourism plans.

Abstract: A three-dimensional numerical model was developed based on CFD software FLUENT to simulate leakage process of liquid ammonia tank. The results show the scope of ammonia gas expands with the increasing of wind speed, And the ammonia gas gathers in the upper space of the leaking tank when the wind speed is low.

Abstract: This paper presents a novel very-short term GHI prediction approach which combines ground-based sky images derived cloud map forecast and cloud base height estimated using numerical weather prediction output. To achieve accurate cloud map forecast, a transformation of original sky images is proceeded to eliminate spherical and coordinate distortion. A WRF based numerical weather prediction model is set up to forecast the local meteorological parameters and estimate cloud base heights information. The cloud base height estimation is adopted to derive real locations and sizes of clouds, and eventually obtain very-short term forecast of the local global horizontal irradiance. The validation of the proposed method is carried out by comparing predicted and measured irradiance of a test site. The results show that the method has high prediction accuracy, and has ability to predict the radiation fluctuation caused by the cloud sheltering process.

Abstract: This paper studies the influence factor and the mechanism of geo-hazard with quantitative methods. Youyu County can be divided into1 low susceptible zone,6 middle susceptible areas, and 2 high susceptible zones, whose percentage respectively is 11.11%,66.67%,22.22%.Finally the authors put forward countermeasures to geo-hazards in Youyu County.

Abstract: This paper introduces regional vulnerability of environmental emergencies in petrochemical industry based on the analysis of the vulnerability and the theory of the constituent elements. And it builds the regional vulnerability evaluation index system of environmental emergencies in the petrochemical industry from analyzing the people vulnerability factors, economic vulnerability factors, environment vulnerability factors and regional respond capability.

Abstract: The benthic macroinvertebrates community biodiversity of Stone-horse River of Dongjiang (China) was investigated in 2013, and evaluation system of river health assessment was established based on the benthic macroinvertebrates diversity. It provides relevant data which distribution of benthic macroinvertebrates for the basin of river pollution detection, evaluation and treatment.
