Assessment of An Advanced Traffic State Detector

Abstract:

This paper conducts an evaluation of a new traffic state detector. Compared with traditional traffic detector, this new detector can provided traffic state directly. A comprehensive assessment of this traffic state detector is described in this paper. Microwave traffic detector is used as reference. The results collected from both traffic state detector and microwave detector are investigated. Some interesting findings will be summarized in this paper.
