Error Analysis of LMS200 in Distance Measuring Application

Article Preview

Abstract:

The laser ranging has far detection range and high measurement accuracy and so on merits, is widely applied to navigation system of the autonomous robot, but different environmental conditions have different influence on transmission of the laser, producing errors of the various degree to measurement. Proposed ranging influence research of the laser ranging LMS200 which is used in the robot navigation under the dissimilar condition, through analyzing primary factor that affect LMS200 ranging in the room and outside, and makes the experimental contrast, obtains experimental effect under environmental influencing factor, discovers reflectivity, incidence, mixed pixel and visibility and so on environmental factor which effect on practical application truly, builds the foundation for carrying on ranging application of the robot navigation.
