Synthesis and Characterisation of WS2 IF Nanoparticles via Solid-Gas Reaction between WO3 and S

Article Preview

Abstract:

WS2 inorganic fullerene like (IF) nanoparticles were synthesised via a modified solid-gas reaction route. Based on the reaction between WO3 and S at a relatively low temperature (between 450 and 950°C) in H2/Ar, nanosized WS2 (<100 nm) with IF structure were readily produced.
