Primary Study of Wear-Resistance Characters of the Recycled Composite Materials

Article Preview

Abstract:

Study of wear-resistance of recycled composites matrix preparated by means of remelting and centrifugal casting to waste composites is conducted under Low speed and different load. The results show that wearability of recycled composites matrix are higher than that of the primary composites matrix and high-Cr cast iron,it reveals that recycled composites matrix has better wear-resistance properties. with the increase of load, the friction coefficient decreases, and wear rate increases.wear mechanisms of recycled composites matrix are susceptible to load, wear mechanisms of recycled composites samples are mainly adhesion wear in low load condition, and with the load increased, wear mechanisms are mainly the plastic formation wear, plowing wear and oxidative wear.
