Abstract: A novel method for the design and fabrication of heterogeneous objects is presented, which combines the Three Dimensional Printing (3DP) and micro droplets dispensing technology. It provides a solution to the fabrication of assemblies with multi materials, which can not be fabricated by traditional processes. An integrated design and fabrication system for heterogeneous objects based on the new process is introduced. Its constructive representation scheme is described. To show the effectiveness of the working process of multi-materials, based on slice software of color STL model and developing prototyping system, an example is shown to illustrate the entire design-fabrication cycle for heterogeneous objects.

Abstract: A compressed sensing (CS) recognition algorithm for sonar image based on non-negative matrix factorization and adjacency spectra (A-NMF) feature extraction is proposed in this paper. The feature vector of the tradition CS recognition algorithm is random Gaussian matrix, which causes the identification rate unstable. The stable feature vector which is extracted by the A-NMF feature extraction is used in this algorithm. The feature and structure of the original data can be expressed more accurately by this feature vector. Then the sonar images are classified under the compressed sensing framework. Experimental results show that the sonar image recognition is high, efficient and stable.

Abstract: With the rapid development of computer, control and communications technology, Smart Grid has got a rapid development and preliminary application. Reactive power compensation system plays an important role in power supply system all the time. Therefore, reactive power compensation system is into Smart Grid, and realizes the remote monitoring, which has very important significance. This paper introduces a design model of embedded reactive compensation control system based on dual-CPU, puts forward the whole system framework, including the design of the software and hardware system. And the system adopts the fuzzy-pid control algorithm, so that the controller can satisfy the grid of reactive-power compensation required control precision and speed. In order to make the system into intelligent network, expand the Ethernet interface, the system adopts the industrial Ethernet protocol, and improves the system of remote monitoring system performance. In the system software design, using Linux and QT improves stability and scalability of system. The practical test shows that the system can be into Smart Grid, and realize the remote monitoring of system, believe that it will have broad application prospects.

Abstract: In this paper, the ADAMS Softwares is applied to the optimization design of the Φ355 automatic feed mechanism. After the optimization, the maximum and average lifting forces are reduced by 60.2% and 48.3% respectively. In addition, dramatic declines of 54.7% and 49.0% in the maximum and average propulsive forces are made, which saves energy significantly.

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze the working principle of folding machine and it also explains the working mode of the stepper motor. Basing on these, the control-system of folding machine is designed. It is through the AT89C52 MPU and the corresponding circuit of periphery to control the two stepper motors. So it can drive the feeding roller and the paper roller to overlay in accordance with the predefined size. The system achieves the automation of folding. It not only reduces the labor, but also improves the efficiency and accuracy of folding. It has a very broad application prospect.

Abstract: In the communications maintenance support system, how to progress the optimal allocation of maintenance resources is key to design the system. For Optimization Problem of Maintenance Resources Allocation, this paper analysis the phenomenon of premature convergence in Partical Swarm Optimization(PSO), and proposed an improved Particle Swarm Optimization. The two examples study how to use the improved PSO to solve Optimization Problem of Maintenance Resources and validate an improved PSO.

Abstract: Due to the reduced gate coupling ratio, the channel Fowler-Nordheim (CFN) programming speed of stacked-gate flash memories with high-permittivity (k) tunnel dielectrics (TDs) is helpless in operation voltage reduction. Although the electric field on high-k tunnel dielectrics is lower than SiO2 tunnel oxide, enhanced impact ionization rate and lower barrier height contribute to higher channel hot-electron (CHE) injection current and efficiency. Consequently, high-k TDs are only effective for the memories programmed with hot electron injection rather than FN tunneling, which is suitable for the NOR-type stacked-gate flash memories.

Abstract: As the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technologies developing fast, it is used widely on application domain nowadays. The UML model design for Data Access Layer (DAL), Business Logic Layer (BLL), and Service Layer are introduced in detail. The SOA architecture selected for the access management system design is applied for the service program and integrated into Web service applications. The MyEclipse 8.5 and MySQL5.0 database are opted to be the development environment. The C/S design pattern is used to achieve data collection from RF tag and store the synchronization service program. Furthermore, the godown entry and the outbound order are automatically produced respectively. On the other hand, the B/S model is selected for Web services applications.

Abstract: The current work was carried out to characterize the welding of austenitic stainless steel AISI 310 steel to Inconel 800 alloys by Gas Tungsten Arc (GTA) welding using Inconel 600 filler wire. Tensile test shows that failure has occurred in heat affected zone of AISI 310 and its strength was lower as compared to the base metal. In addition the SEM fractographs showed the micro void with some dimple structure which ensures the fracture is ductile in nature. Furthermore the maximum hardness value was found at the weld interface of AISI310 due to the formation of chromium-carbide. The microstructure revealed a considerable change in the grain size and orientation of the Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) in both sides of the weldment than that of the parent metal. Moreover the corrosion test was also carried out in the welded samples both in air and molten salt of Na2SO4 – 50%NaCl at 700 °C. The weld zone corroded less readily in the air and molten salt than that of the base metal. It can be concluded that these joints could be used effectively at aggressive environments without compromising the strength.

Abstract: Study of grain refinement has developed to improving the mechanical properties of low carbon steel. Wedge shaped slab of low carbon steel were deformed through warm rolling methods of 500, 550, and 600oC to produce a finer ferrite grains. The thickness reduction of deformation is 80, 75, 67 and 50% .Dynamic recrystallizations were confirmed at warm working temperature in this study. Grains size which obtained through this process could improve the hardness and its mechanical properties and also its performance in corrosive environment. The smallest grain size was obtain from 80% deformation is 5.2 µm and the tensile strength is 817.65 MPa. Its gives the evidence that warm rolling can use to produce the fine grain at warm temperature of 600oC.
