Abstract: Variant design has already become the focus of digital design, and modular design is the foundation for realizing variant design. To realize variant design for a certain class of milling planer, according to the analysis of the characteristics and developing situation of milling planer, a modular design method orienting to variant design is presented in this paper. Functional independence of module should be the first priority in the method; then the structural independence. By using the method of system analysis, combining with parameters and type spectrum of series of products, module division is successfully implemented on milling planer. The feasibility of this method is verified by experiments. The ability to respond to the market of this product has been improved significantly.

Abstract: Structure Dynamic Design theory, including its core analysis of the results of the mechanical properties and structure optimization, in order to ensure the reliability of the structure, improve the use of equipment reliability, improve efficiency provides a strong theoretical support. By the method of variable analysis focuses on the reinforcement plate column, door-type column constrains represented by a single-ended cantilever dynamics with different structures, parameters of the relationship, and for YK2275 column structure is optimized, make the first three natural frequencies varying degrees of increase, an average of 10%.

Abstract: CAE software is used to help mechanical engineers design complicated products. There are many problems in this process, for example lack of analysis theory, lack of experience in simulation analysis and lots of repeated manual operations. To solve these problems, this paper studies the process of simulation and puts forward an automatic method of simulation analysis to realize the automatic simulation analysis. This method contains two parts: databases and automatic analysis flow. To make this method easy and universal, several principals are established. Through this method, mechanical engineers can draw their attention to mechanical design instead of simulation analysis.

Abstract: Optimization of an engine accessory bracket is conducted by using the method offered by the Optistruct software. An initial structure is created based on the interspaces left by the layout of accessories,and multiple static and modal analyses are carried out in order to obtain basic stiffness and modal information. Then a model which minimizes the structural weight with the displacement and frequency constraints for multiple loading cases is defined. The simulation yields an optimal topology. According to the optimal topology and considering some other factors, a new design is created and FEA is made to validate the design. The results show that the method can accessory bracket light in weight and maximum is stiffness.

Abstract: The most important factors in hard disk drive suspension manufacturing is the suspension preload, so call “gram load”. The suspensions were generally made from cold rolled stainless steel (SUS304). The suspensions were formed by mechanical forming and gram load was adjusted by mechanical bending until reached a specification. The material properties in mechanical bending simulation of thin stainless steel were usually as isotropic for simple calculation. But the properties of thin stainless steel should be defined as orthotropic materials. Therefore, this work aimed to study gram load results of using isotropic and orthotropic properties. The thin stainless sheet was cut and test for mechanical properties in rolling and transverse directions. The properties of the thin sheet were applied to simulation model. It was found that orthotropic material properties shows a good agreement with the experimental results more than using isotropic material properties. Therefore, the results of this work could be used to explain and predict the mechanical response on the suspension manufacturing.

Abstract: Garbage processing is an important content in environment protection.Garbage crusher plays a key role in garbage processing. To enhance design rapidity and quality of garbage crusher, a new garbage crusher variant design methodology based on parameterization is proposed. The principle of variant design based on parameterization is introducted. Parametric model of garbage crusher is established and analyzed. A new product information model is established according to the mating relationship type among constituent parts of assembly. The product information model included several sub-models. It can be droved by parametric dimension, which is defined by customers’ requirement to get customized product’s design scheme. Garbage crusher variant design plug-ins based on SolidWorks is developed with VC++. The garbage crusher’s variant design is implemented.

Abstract: Taking the marine low-speed high power diesel engine frame for example, created a three-dimension model through UG. By using the finite element software ANSYS investigated the body’s stress status and displacement which provides a valuable reference for the structural optimization of the cylinder block of diesel engine’s design.

Abstract: The sheet metal forming is widely used in aerospace, automobile and shipbuilding industry. CNC incremental forming is a kind of recently developed flexible and dieless forming technology. This paper introduce an integrated process of CNC incremental forming and 5-axis laser cutting based on machining features, and the structure of related special CAD/CAM system as well as its development methods.

Abstract: The article introduces the unique characteristics of CNC machining center cutter compared to traditional cutters, analyzes the choice of CNC machining cutter and factors of choice. Meanwhile, proved by the examples with manufacture software CAXA2004, the correct choice of CNC machining center cutter can give full play to the advantages of CNC machining and improve the economic efficiency and production levels of enterprises.

Abstract: Plane is a basic element to constitute the part and a benchmark to assess shape and position error. It’s precision directly influence to components processing flatness and shape position error's evaluation precision. Therefore carries on measuring and reversing in the manufacturing process is very meaningful to improve manufacturing precision. Using the smallest region principle to reverse plane compiles a system of measuring and reversing based on machining center, it can not only raise the machining center use efficiency, but also can increase the online working accuracy.
