Abstract: Based on the feasibility of ore drawing simulation with PFC, a PFC numerical simulation was performed on the surface deformation problem in Jinshandian mine. With PFC numerical simulation software, ore drawing simulations were carried out under four covering layer thicknesses of 15 meters, 20 meters, 25 meters and 30 meters. By comparing the deformations of surface loess layer according to the simulation results of four groups, related equation was obtained.

Abstract: The objective of this study is to investigate and evaluate the compressive strength and creep behavior of fine aggregates on asphalt mastic. The variables that are considered in the study include the size and content of fine aggregates. Eight types of mastic specimens consisting of bitumen with various volume fractions of different kinds of fine aggregates were used. Unixal compression and static creep tests were realized at different loading conditions. The results found that, in general, asphalt mastics made with different aggregate sizes but same volume fraction (64%) have slight difference in compressive strength and creep values. However, those values show significant differences for mastics made with different volume fractions but same aggregate size (between 2.36 and 1.18 mm). Moreover, the asphalt mastic with 64% volume fraction has better deformation resistance.

Abstract: A mono-ligand neutral Mg (II) complex of a Schiff base ligand derived from 1-acetyl-2-naphthol and 4, 4’-diaminodiphenylmethane was prepared and characterized. The Schiff base acts as a double, negatively charged quadridentate ligand forming stable neutral Mg (II) complex. The luminescent characterizations of the Mg (II) complex material in solid and in organic solvents show that the Mg (II) complex has strong luminescent emission at ca. 452 nm when excited at 323 nm. The Mg (II) complex synthesized may be an excellent luminescent material.

Abstract: A aroylhydrazone Schiff-base ligand (1, 4-Bis(2’-formylphenyl)-1,4-dioxabutane isonicotinoylhydrazone) and its Zn (II) complex were synthesized by hydrothermal method. The ligand was characterized by IR spectrum, MS spectrum and X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis. The luminescent properties of the ligand and Zn (II) complex material have been investigated in solid and in organic solvents. The results show that the ligand has strong luminescent emission at ca. 454 nm and the fluorescence of Zn (II) complex is very weak.

Abstract: Because of the limitation of Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) for the methed of traditional spectrum analysis to analyze the unsteady signal, wavelet analysis are made for the typical unsteady process signal of starting up and shut down with the good characteristic of simultaneous localization in both the time and the frequency domains based on the field test, in which the signal is decomposed into different frequency band, and then the weak signal is caught and the dominant frequency is picked up for the analysis of the vibration source. It proved that the wavelet is a most powerful tool for processing the unsteady signal.

Abstract: A Cd (II) complex with Schiff base ligand, 1-acetyl-2-naphthol-4, 4’-diaminodiphenylmethane (L), has been prepared. The photoluminescent properties of ligand and its Cd (II) complex have been investigated. The results show that the ligand and Cd (II) complex have stronger fluorescence in DMSO, however, their fluorescence are very weak in solid, in methanol and in ethanol, indicating that DMSO solvent could enhance the fluorescence of ligand and its Cd (II) complex. The Cd (II) complex is stable either in air or in organic solvents.
