The Temperature Field Finite Element Analysis and Simulation of One Kind of Magnetic Agitation System

Article Preview

Abstract:

A magnetic beads agitation device is given based on electromagnetic MEMS. The micro planar coil which is used for controlling the magnetic beads in the device will generate heat, and the heat will directly affect the reaction droplet’s temperature, even lead the failure of the reactants and enzymes. Against this problem, the mathematical model for temperature field analysis of magnetic beads agitation device is established based on three-dimensional transient heat balance equation, boundary conditions of radiation and convection; and then the finite element model for the magnetic beads agitation device is established; in the end, simulation and calculation of temperature field distribution of the device are done in different load, and the simulation results are coincident with the existing literature’s experimental results ,which verified the correctness of this analysis method.
