Abstract: The test apparatus of infrared emissivity used in powders industry was researched by controlling the temperature accurately and collecting the signals of surface temperature of two standard samples and a test sample. The tourmaline samples from ten mines had been tested by the new test apparatus. Compared with the results from FTIR, it was shown that average value of relative error was 0.378% and repeatability error was less than 0.6% after correcting by the coefficient kc = 0.958.

Abstract: By fitting calculation of functional relationship between charge quantity and temperature on condition that powders were shielded, a device was proposed to measure spontaneous polarity of powders, and samples of typical tourmaline were measured. The results showed when tourmaline powders of different origins were heated to 80, minimum value of spontaneous polarization strength was 3.204×10-4C/m2, and maximum value was 1.53×10-3C/m2. The conclusion was in accord with results got from crystal structure analysis, and repeatability r was 1.726×10-6C/m2 with 95% confidence probability.

Abstract: In this work, purified and surface-pretreated attapulgite was added to the common recipe of the skin-care cream and the improved cream products, containing clay minerals, were prepared. In order to optimize the moisturizing and sunscreen properties of the cream products, different attapulgite addition was tried and the grinding time of the attapulite was considered. The result shows that, by adding attapulgite clay, the moisturizing and sunscreen properties of the skin-care products can be improved respectively.

Abstract: To create a new tourism attraction and further develop the tourism of Zhangqiu, the Tourism Bureau of Zhangqiu cooperated with Yanshan University in the testing of air anions concentration in twenty-five scenic spots of eight sceneries in Zhangqiu on July 1st and 2nd, 2010. The specific test was finished by the air anions testing team of Yanshan University, which was composed of graduates that major in polymer material, then they evaluated the level of air anions concentration in each scenic spots, according to the seven levels standard evaluation system, that proposed by Professor Qingshan Li of Yanshan University.

Abstract: Functional material specialty English teaching aims at fostering technical personnel with a high level of English proficiency; however, the goal is not achieved due to the boring teaching mode of imparting knowledge. In the paper, task-based language teaching, which is student-centered and characterized by learning by doing and using, is applied to the functional material specialty English to arouse initiatives of students through completing tasks in authentic situations, thus developing their English comprehensive abilities and professional skills. The task is to prepare sepiolite nanofibers by means of the high-speed air current superfine technique using natural sepiolite samples as raw materials and then make a presentation to describe the whole process of the experiment in English in the class. Teachers should monitor the progress of the task to help students complete the task successfully and develop a sense of responsibility to cultivate their practical ability of language using. Through the task, English comprehensive abilities and professional skills of students are improved, and specialty English teaching abilities of teachers is developed.

Abstract: On the basis of defining and analyzing the concept and the basic element of innovative thinking, this paper analyzed the characteristics of the physical and mental development of students as well as that of the innovative thinking. In the paper, channels of developing college students' innovative thinking ability were discussed from four aspects, and the major obstacle to be overcome in the process of developing was also studied, which provided guidance for learning and developing the innovative thinking ability of college students.
