Abstract: A new measurement theory, it is not enough for the proof in math only, from the point of engineering view, it must be verified by practice. In this paper, the disadvantage of traditional method of indirect testing method is discussed and the concept of repeating and reappearing from the theory of accuracy was used in this new method to support to judge weather a new principle of measurement is advanced or not. On the same measuring condition, the test system 1 is compares with system 2, if the measuring error of system 1 is too small to measure by system 2, the accuracy of system 1 is not lower than system 2, vice versa.

Abstract: In this paper a novel method of meter placement for distribution systems is proposed. By analyzing the characters of the sensitive matrix of estimated errors of measurements, the sensitive genes are defined which are produced by measurements in the total variance of estimated errors of measurements. The scheme of meter placement is decided according to their orders in the sensitive gene table. The new approach can use lesser real-time meter placements and more pseudo measurements to satisfy the evaluated criterions on the base of branch-current-based state estimation. An analysis is done for the IEEE 33-bus systems and tested results present the advantage of new idea.

Abstract: Vehicle monitor becomes popular in china, but it is difficult to monitor vehicle runs in continuous Tri-dimensional Traffic Area. This paper supposes a vehicle monitor framework, which integrates X3D, XML with GPS, and it realizes vehicle movement model, to locate exactly which road a car run in, and to watch cars runs in TTA. The framework is proved to be feasible by test done in Guangzhou city of china, which can also be applied in traffic simulation and vehicle behavior analysis.

Abstract: Whether philosophy can realize mathematization has long been controversial. As the mathematics develops a nonquantative branch- structural mathematics, however, mathematization of philosophy has a turnaround. Broadspectrum philosophy which makes use of structural mathematics has established a generally applicable as well as precise mathematical model for many philosophical problems, giving a positive answer to whether the philosophy can be mathematized. Mathematizaiton of philosophy allows more accurate and clear distinction of people’s expression in meaning, gives ideas the visible characteristics, makes philosophy an analyzable discipline, and realizes routinization of philosophical methods. Hegel was well versed in mathematics but opposed “Extreme Mathematic Attitude”, since he thought recognizing all the objects from the mathematic standpoint of “Quantity or Quantitative Relationship” would ignore the qualitative difference among the objects.[1]P239 Hegel’s opinion was based on the traditional mathematic which takes the Quantitative Relationship as the foundation. Holding the same evidence as Hegel's, most philosophers nowadays still suspect that the philosophy can be mathematized. When the modern mathematics has developed a new nonquantative branch, the Structural Mathematics, the philosophy mathematization, however, meets a turning point. Opposed to Quantitative Mathematics, the Structural Mathematics focuses on research of mathematic relationship and structure on the basis of abstract set theory. Since the structural mathematics doesn't rely on quantity and quantitative relationship, it can be combined in research of philosophy which usually doesn’t possess quantitative characteristics. Establishment of Broadspectrum Philosophy is a successful attempt. With full application of set theory, symbolic logic, modern algebra, transformation group theory and graph theory, Broadspectrum Philosophy constructs a generally applicable as well as precise mathematical mode for many philosophical problems, bringing a fundamental change to the philosophy. This paper attempts to make some preliminary analysis on the significance of establishment of Broadspectrum Philosophy.

Abstract: The diagnosis of compound-fault is always a difficult point, and there is not an effective method in equipment diagnosis field. Rough set theory is a relatively new soft computing tool to deal with vagueness and uncertainty. Condition attribute reduce algorithm is the key point of rough set research. However, it has been proved that finding the best reduction is the NP-hard problem. For the purpose of getting the reduction of systems effectively, an improved algorithm is put forward. The worst Fisher criterion was adopted as heuristic information to improve the searching efficiency and Max-Min Ant System was selected. Simplify the fault diagnosis decision table, then clear and concise decision rules can be obtained by rough sets theory. This method raises the accuracy and efficiency of fault diagnosis of bearing greatly.

Abstract: This paper presents a novel technology for determining spacecraft position and velocity using X-ray pulsars. There are numerous potential benefits from this technology. A X-ray pulsar-based navigation (XNAV) system would be available anywhere in the Solar System that cosmic X-ray sources can be observed. The relatively low disturbance environment of deep space, as compared with low-Earth orbit, allows pulse time of arrival (TOA) to be measured precisely. Furthermore, the system require only infrequent pulsar ephemeris updates and can operate in an autonomous mode, independent of Deep Space Network (DSN). XNAV becomes increasingly attractive for deep space missions.

Abstract: In order to cope with the existing shortcomings lie in hydrological monitoring areas, a novel hydrological monitoring system based on beacon-enabled ZigBee network is proposed in this paper. The designed monitoring system is made up of three parts: field collecting portion, field monitoring portion and remote service portion. The proposed data collecting station utilizes ZigBee for delivering field sensors' data to monitoring center, which is designed to collect, store, process and analyze the data and provide higher services to the hydrological department. The main idea about constructing a simple and effective beacon-enabled ZigBee network is presented. The improvement on Guaranteed Time Slot (GTS) assignment mechanism and low power consideration are also be involved. The practical results indicate the system is effective and reliable.

Abstract: We presented a method for measuring the topological charge of a Fractional optical vortex (FOV) by a ring-type multi-pinhole interferometer (RMPI). We retrieved the sampled phase of the FOV passing through a ring-type multi-pinhole plate from the Fourier transform of a single far-field diffraction intensity pattern, and found the phase of FOV around the center approximately be linear with the azimuthal angle, the slope of the phase to the azimuthal angle at the linear part is equal to the topological charge of the FOV. Thus we proposed a method for measuring the l state and determining orbital angular momentum (OAM) of a FOV based on the property.

Abstract: This article makes the surface of airplane into quadrilateral gridding by using the method of discrete gridding generation, and calculates the data of gridding by using the classical Dijkstra algorithm (local algorithm) which can seek the shortest path from the start point and the end point. With that we can achieve diffraction ray tracing. This method can be used for any convex surface of the diffraction ray tracing.

Abstract: One of difficultest problem is to find these important features (namely, effective features) for intrusion detection system (IDS). In order to resolve the problem, a method is presented in the paper. The so-called important features are these features in which much information for IDS is provided. The information provided by a feature is measured by mean-squared error (namely, variance) of the feature. The correlativity between two features is measured by covariance. If the covariance is equal to zero, the two features are non-correlative. On condition that covariance is equal to zero, the new feature making the variance maximum is gained. The new feature is called first important features searched in the paper. In the same approach, the second, third … important features are gained. Tests show that the method developed in the article and IDS based on the important features sought in the method are useful and available.
