Abstract: The utilization of Renewable Energies plays the pivotal role in the environmental protection in the contemporary age, so that many countries have given the priority to such energies in their national programs, seeking the efficient methods or strategies to achieve such ambition. The study shows that the issue has been considered in Iran Plateau from the early ages. The recognition of windmills utilization experience in the eastern region of Iran and especially the southern part of Khorasan province and Sistan shows that the use of wind energy has been adapted with the daily needs of residents. Regarding the wind power transmission mechanism in the studied local windmills known as Asbad, a same mechanism in all three types of Asbads is recognizable. Based on the study main achievement, such a power transmission mechanism can be applied in the contemporary age even in other countries to replace the energies derived from the fossil fuels with the wind energy as a Renewable and Eco-friend Energy.

Abstract: With the rapid development of iron and steel industry, high temperature coking has become an important application of coal. H2S of coke oven gas(COG) and its combustion products --SO2 has aroused more and more concern for the negative effects on environment and human health. The total coke production is about 335.53 Mt in 2007, and the caused SO2 emission is reported at about 181.19 kt. In reference to future development objectives and pollution control technologies of coking industry, the future reduction potential of SO2 emissions from coking is analyzed on the basis of coking technological progress, process improvement and industrial restructuring. It shows that the potential of SO2 emissions reduction will be 90.35 kt by 2010, and it will amount to 252.49 kt by 2015, which will be a good support to the energy-saving and emission-reduction targets of the country.

Abstract: To solve the flood-drought coexistence issue by taking measures on water resources compensation (WRC), the set pair-wavelet analysis method (SPWAM) is proposed to study water resources compensation characteristics (WRCC); and Fu River Basin as a case, the uncertainty correlation and its periodic variation laws, which are implied in synchronous-asynchronous encounter probability of rich-poor rainfall and runoff, are researched; then the traditional methods are used to test the results; the conclusions obtained show that: in Fu River Basin, there is an uncertainty correlation of more synchronous(encounter) probability and little asynchronous(compensation) probability of rich-poor rainfall and runoff or runoff and runoff, and a variation law, which is of characteristics of multiple main cycles, is an alternate change of partial encounter and partial compensation in the correlation. These conclusions can provide better basis and condition to solve the flood-drought coexistence in the basin by adopting measures of WRC regulation and flood resources.

Abstract: The differential GPS navigation and positioning technique, multi-channel shallow seismic exploration and high resolution single channel seismic technique were used for the geophysical exploration of the shallow stratum in Jiangshidi nuclear power plant site and its surrounding areas. Based on seismic data post processing results, the seismic section interpretation was performed, combined with regional geological background, borehole data and shallow anatomy data. Five main seismic reflection surfaces were recognized by using seismic stratigraphic method, and eight breakpoints were found according to the active fault discrimination criteria. Then the distribution and activity characteristics of main faults were obtained. The results show that any fault and marked deformation in the quaternary sediments has not been observed in the range of 5 km away from Jiangshidi nuclear power plant site. So the stability analysis results of shallow stratum in target area can meet the requirement of nuclear power plant site selection code.

Abstract: This paper presents the design and implementation of the flexible control strategy for stand alone wind generator system controlled by a digital signal processor. The system is composed of a wind generator, a step-up dc/dc converter and battery energy storage system (BESS). The wind generator is the main power source of the system, and the BESS is used for energy storage and power compensation for the lack of stability of the wind power. Since the output power of wind generator varies with the change of wind speed, a flexible control strategy is used to determine the system working state and the operating mode of BESS. In charging mode, the battery is charged by multi-stage current charging method with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm to raise the charging efficiency and completely employ the finite power. Fuzzy logic control algorithm is used to improve the transient response when the battery discharges in discharging mode. Finally, a 100 W power converter system is constructed and the performance is verified.

Abstract: The computational methods of compensation standard are the focal point and are also difficulty in shaping of the eco-compensation mechanism. As for Xi’an Chan-Ba ecological district, there are three types of eco-compensation pattern: compensation for ecosystem services, compensation for river pollution, and compensation for water environment protection. The paper designs the computational methods for these three types of compensation pattern basing on eco-compensation theory, then calculates the amount of compensation based on the data acquired from Chan-Ba ecological district to test the applicability of the methods. The results show the methods are applicable and feasible

This article take the river water source and the place source heat pump as the example, the use river water source and the place source heat pump integration application energy conservation technology to the construction heating, the refrigeration. Through to this integrative system's analysis, obtained the river water source and the place source heat pump integration application energy conservation and the environmental protection performance.

Abstract: Low carbon economy is rising at home and abroad as a new development model. Coping with the new situation of financial crisis and low carbon economy, forest product trade draws widespread concern in academic circles. This paper analyses the export trade of forest products by the grey relational analysis, the result shows that the changes of forest products export consistent with the added value of forest products, the paper proposes the countermeasures and suggestions to optimize the structure of exports of forest products, transforming export trade of forest products to a low carbon economy.

Abstract: It is a common view to build up a sustainable development world, and greening/ecological residence is becoming more and more popular. So an efficient assessment system is so important for all the shareholders to assess a residence project and certificate an authoritative, rational and impartial level of the project. A test is designed in this paper to illustrate relevance to efficiency of greening residence assessment system and the scalar of criteria, and claim the efficiency is extremely low of a fat criteria system based on the test results.

Abstract: In the summer of 2010, we performed some on-site measurements to investigate the outdoor air temperature and wind velocity of Happy Homeland, a typical post-earthquake transition settlement of Sichuan. With the results of the measurements we found some problems in the existing planning and design of the settlements and proposed improvement which can make the transition settlements have larger volume fraction and better ventilation environment. The CFD simulation results show that the improvement can enhance the outdoor wind velocity by 19.4% and 16.7% respectively, and can raise the air changes per hour by 44.4% and 63.7% respectively, compared with the present condition.
