Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to observe the distribution of displacement and stress of LNG prestressed tank when under the normal condition and the LNG divulging. The Abaqus software has been used to analyze the three dimensional LNG prestressed tank with finite element method, a numerical simulation is carried out by modeling the prestressed rebar with three dimensional elements, meanwhile, the prestress is applied for rebar with the falling temperature method. By coupling the condition of dead load, live load, prestress, gas pressure, hydraulic pressure and the low temperature, the conclusions indicate that: 1) the valid prestress has been applied by the prestressed rebar for LNG tank model. 2) the effect of live load for the tank can be ignored but the effect of gas pressure cannot. 3) the effect of highly temperature difference between the internal and external of LNG tank is great when the template lining of LNG tank divulging. The maximum displacement of cylinders shell is 28.22mm, and the maximum stress is 13.97MPa, the safety can be enhanced by modifying the arrangement of prestressed rebar.

Abstract: Jatropha curcas L. is an important resource for bioenergy. There are many kinds of energy plants in the world, but they are not utilized sufficiently. Because of the lack of knowledge on resource numbers and distribution of energy plant limited their development. In this paper, we discussed the natural distribution of Jatropha curcas L. in Guangxi province. At the same time, we carried out assessment on the energy plant resource numbers of Jatropha curcas L. in Guangxi. At last, we provided some suggestions for developing of Jatropha curcas L. in China.

Abstract: An integrated urban energy system planning model named SynCity which could make overall considerations of architecture site selection and layout, energy demand prediction, energy technologies optimal selection and energy flow distribution is shown in this paper and demonstrates it in the case of Shanghai Lingang New City. By case study simulation it offers a promising low-carbon emission solution which is the combination of gas engine heat pump and building cooling, heating and power. The energy flow between different cells of the city is obtained at the same time.

Abstract: Environmental tax is a popular economic instrument dealing with nonpoint pollution. However, the differences between China and western countries cause it is not proper to apply in China. The fertilizer demand price elasticity is -0.345. The low elasticity suggests that the tax will have little effect on chemical use reduction. Moreover, in order to guarantee food security, Chinese government provides many subsidies to encourage farmers to continue their agricultural practices. Those subsidies also contribute to impair the effectiveness of the tax. Additionally, considering the weak role of farmers in current China society, it is difficult for the tax instrument to get its political legitimacy for the potential conflict on social equity. Other economic tools like payments should be taken into consideration when tackling agricultural nonpoint pollution.

Abstract: The manganese sand-gravel constructed wetland and gravel wetland were used to the advanced treatment of coking wastewater. Results showed that when the HRT was shortened from 5 days to 3 days, COD, iron, manganese in effluent was less than 60mg/L, 0.3mg/L, 0.1mg/L respectively, which meets the standard of “The reuse of urban recycling water ―Water quality standard for industrial uses”. Removal of pollutants was affected by HRT and different combination of substrates. The manganese sand and gravel wetland has better treatment results and the variety and number of organic compound in effluent were greatly reduced. (Abstract)

Abstract: Comparisons between the mesh screen, parallel wire, etched foil and sphere beds regenerators have been made base on the calculation of entropy generation rate per unit length in the four irreversible processes. The irreversible process model of heat conduction of gas and matrix, gas flow resistance and heat exchange between gas and matrix are respectively analyzed. Based on the software Regen3.3 user manual, the entropy generation rate per unit length are calculated and compared between the four regenerators. It is indicated that the irreversible processes loss in the cold end plays the key role in the whole regenerator, and it is an important way to improve the regeneration efficient by optimizing the matrix geometries and the material properties at the cold end.

Abstract: The central and western regions of Inner Mongolia is a high activity area of sandstorm in northern China, each year there regions are seriously affected by sandstorm. In order to effectively reduce and control sandstorm disasters, this paper studied the sandstorm in there regions, and proposes the causes, moving path, the time distribution and geographical distribution characteristic, disaster performance of the sandstorm, and proposes measures to prevent and treat sandstorm.

Abstract: In order to solve the universal uncertainty in ecological environment evaluation of coal mining area, the cloud model is proposed. Theory of cloud model is introduced; a new method of coal mineral area ecological environment evaluation based on cloud model is presented and its effectiveness is tested by example. Testified by the experiment, results of evaluation are intuitionist with more details, and approach to the fact better.

Abstract: As the renewable energy (wind energy, solar energy) being utilized more and more, there is strong demand for improvement on the policies of energy storage management. Several papers have shown that hybrid storage system is more efficient and economic than single storage system. In this paper, a policy based on the accurate prediction of wind speed in the near future is introduced and compared with state-of-charge (SOC) management approach and single storage system. The current simulation results demonstrate that the new policy proposed has a minor improvement on the set-up cost and the system performance over the state-of-charge policy.
