Abstract: Logistics supply chain system management is the integration of key business processes from end user through original logistics suppliers that provides products, services, and information that add value for customers and other stakeholders. Logistics supply chain is a network of suppliers, factories, warehouses, distribution centers and retailers where the raw materials are acquired, manufactured to products, which then are delivered to consumers. The increase of customer expectations in low cost and high services quality has put a premium on effective logistics supply chain reengineering. Many efforts have been endeavoring to improve the supply chain performance to achieve high agility without increasing costs For improved competitiveness, supply chain logistics system in the industry has become more and more important for modern businesses, especially for the major retailing corporations. Multi-agent system which can effectively process distributed large scale data is developed for the logistics supply chain coordinate system.

Fierce competition in global markets and the heightened expectations of consumers have forced business enterprises to invest in and focus attention on, the relationships with their customers and suppliers. Interest in supply chain management has also been growing in the industry both in developed and developing countries. Along with the occurrence of several catastrophic events in supply chains, risk management become more and more important. However, participants in the supply chain are separate and independent economic entities, and only consider their own benefits. The international logistics risk management problems are studied in this paper.

Abstract: In order to improve the retrieval rate of contourlet transform retrieval system, a semi-subsampled contourlet transform based texture image retrieval system was proposed. In the system, the contourlet transform was constructed by non-subsampled Laplacian pyramid cascaded by critical subsampled directional filter banks, sub-bands standard deviation, absolute mean energy and kurtosis in semi-subsampled contourlet domain are cascaded to form feature vectors, and the similarity metric is Canberra distance. Experimental results on 109 brodatz texture images show that using the three cascaded features can lead to a higher retrieval rate than the combination of standard deviation and absolute mean which is most commonly used today under same dimension of feature vectors. Semi-subsampled contourlet transform based image retrieval system is superior to those of the original contourlet transform, non-subsampled contourlet system under the same system structure with same length of feature vectors, retrieval time and memory needed, decomposition structure parameters can also make significant effects on retrieval rates, especially scale number.

Abstract: This paper presents stage shop problem which is a special case of the general shop. The stage shop is a more realistic generalization of the mixed shop problem. In the stage shop problem, each job has several stages of operations. In order to solve the stage shop problem with makespan objective function, a tabu search algorithm is developed. In addition, an existing lower bound of the job shop is adapted to the new problem and the computational results have been compared to it. The proposed TS algorithm has reached the optimal solutions for about half of the problem instances

Abstract: Current MEMS design methods do not fulfill the needs of emerging complex MEMS devices. In this paper, a systematic direct solid modeling approach for surface micromachined MEMS design is proposed. In this approach, practical model of a surface micromachined MEMS device, designed in a traditional CAD environment, is simplified firstly; after simplification, masks and process sequences are generated through solid-based mask synthesis; then local variation is used to refining the 3D layer model; finally masks and process sequences are verified in rough simulation and accurate simulation. The approach aims at enabling designers to focus on creative design activity in an intuitive mode.

Abstract: This paper investigates the supply chain with one single supplier and one single retailer under coexistence of B2B E-markets and traditional wholesale markets. By establishing a mathematical model with considering disruptions which affect the market demands during the lead time of retail order, we calculus the supplier’s optimal product strategy, the retailer’s optimal initial order quantity of products and option, the retailer’s optimal quantity of excised option and optimal quantity of order from B2B E-markets. The research shows that the option contract relocates interests and risks between the members, and effectively response the changes in market demand with B2B E-markets under disruptions. Finally the conclusion is verified by numerical example

Abstract: The search of sphericity evaluation is a time-consuming work. The minimum circumscribed sphere (MCS) is suitable for the sphere with the maximum material condition. An algorithm of sphericity evaluation based on the MCS is introduced. The MCS of a measured data point set is determined by a small number of critical data points according to geometric criteria. The vertices of the convex hull are the candidates of these critical data points. Two theorems are developed to solve the sphericity evaluation problems. The validated results show that the proposed strategy offers an effective way to identify the critical data points at the early stage of computation and gives an efficient approach to solve the sphericity problems.

Abstract: Slope excavations are often constructed in stratified host rock masses in practice. The stratification in a rock mass is generally characterised by its planar geometry and persistence. The mechanical properties of the joints dictate both the deformation and strength characteristics of the stratified rock mass. Thus, it is imperative that the influence of the joints be incorporated in any type of load-deformation analysis of slope excavations in layered rock masses. Rock bolts have been widely used as the primary support system to stabilize the rock masses of slope. In general, rock bolts reinforce rock masses through restraining the deformation within rock masses and reduces the yield region around the excavation boundary. In order to improve bolting design, it is necessary to have a good understanding of the behaviour of rock bolts in deformed rock masses. In the present paper, the numerical analysis method is adopted to built the three springs bolt element; then the excavation in the stratified rock slope is simulated to improve the understanding of the slope deformation and bolt mechanical characteristic.

Abstract: It is one of the key technologies for the integration of CAD/CAM/CAPP to extract the geometric model information. Based on a systematic analysis and comprehension on the expression of STEP geometry model, the map between EXPRESS and C++ was studied. The module of map has been developed as a dynamic link library, which facilitated the expansion of system. In order to ensure the coherence and availability of collected data, a module for data acquisition has also been designed. The reading and analysis for STEP neutral file has been realized so that the geometry information in the STEP-based three-dimensional model could be extracted. Application illustration, which is used for supporting the slicing process in rapid prototyping, has been also presented. The method put forward in the paper is conducive to the integration of different CAX systems.
