Abstract: Taking a kind diaphragm spring of automobile clutch as an example, a finite element analysis based on ANSYS WORKBENCH was studied and explained in this paper. Stress and strain variation of diaphragm spring was obtained by using static analysis, and each modal, frequency and amplitude was all achieved by applying modal analysis. And the results may provide a theoretical reference to improving structure design of automotive diaphragm spring clutch

Abstract: Metro construction is gradually moving into high gear in China. However, safety incidents in metro projects have occurred frequently in recent years. Risk identification is crucial to safe construction. In order to solve problems in the current approach of risk identification, such as too much reliance on expert participation, low efficiency and so on. Safety Risk Identification System (SRIS), a combination of expert system technology and risk identification method, is researched and developed for metro construction. Through the knowledge integration process, fragmented and dispersed experiential knowledge in risk identification field on metro construction, is changed into rule base which can be directly invoked. By this way, SRIS helps realize knowledge sharing as well as risk identification automation, with important practical significance for safe construction nowadays.

Abstract: A new method to design hybrid scroll profile is introduced. The finite element analysis models for hybrid profile and single profile scrolls are established respectively. The stress and deformation of these two kinds of scrolls are analyzed by finite element method under the combined action of temperature load and gas load in the process of one revolution of crank shaft. The analysis data show that the stress and deformation of hybrid-profile scroll are similar to that of involute-profile scroll. Furthermore, the length of baseline of hybrid profile reduces approximately 27.32% with respect to that of involute profile. The results of this study are helpful in the design of scroll compressor with hybrid scroll profile.

Abstract: To study the stress condition at the junction of the spherical shell with opening nozzle, using the finite element analysis, a finite element model is built in view of the same spherical shell joining a flatting nozzle and inside-stretching nozzles with different inner lengths differently. The maximum stress and stress distribution are got. All kinds of stresses are obtained by the total stress which is carried on linear processing. The result shows the inside-stretching nozzle can reduce the maximum stress in comparison with the flatting nozzle, mainly reducing the local membrane stress, but not the peak stress. The maximum stress falls with increasing the inner length of the nozzle to some extent, and beyond the extent, the maximum stress tends to reach a stable value basically without changing the inner length. The stress variation can effectively provide a reference for improving the strength of the spherical shell.

Abstract: Titanium carbonitride, V(C, N) has been prepared by combustion synthesis from V powders and a carbon-nitrogen precursor. The phase composition of the sample was investigated by X-ray diffraction. The scanning electron microscopy image indicates that the average size of the obtained V(C, N) grains was 1µm.

Abstract: This paper developed a three-level supply chain network equilibrium model with multi products and multicriteria based on corporate social responsibility through integrating the maximization of economic benefits, the maximization of social utility and the minimization of environment pollution under revenue-sharing contract. We analysed competitive behaviour of manufactures and retailers in a no cooperative competitive and described the multicriteria decision-making behaviour using Nash equilibrium theory and the weighted value function. Using product utility functions of brand differentiation and consumer preferences from product price, transaction cost and corporation social responsibility to analyse product choice in a market, and we developed the optimization conditions of each tier and whole network by variational inequality method. At last we illustrated the model with several numerical examples.

Abstract: With the exploitation of oil and gas resource in deepwater, pip-laying vessels have been the main way used for deepwater pipelaying. This paper introduced the three pipelaying methods widely used in offshore oil & gas field exploitation, and the characteristics of methods are analyzed. The latest development of pipelaying system in China was investigated.

Abstract: In response to the concept of Olympics, Beijing Olympic buildings use solar light pipe systems for daylighting, such as the underground passage in the Olympic Forest Park and the gymnasium of University of Science and Technology Beijing. In this paper, the solar light pipe systems in the two buildings have been measured to find out whether indoor daylighting performance can meet daily use requirements. At last, compare the result with T8 fluorescent lamps to get the energy saving effect of two buildings. Calculating results showed that indoor illuminance of the two buildings can achieve daily use requirements when external illuminance reaches 25036lx and17895lx, and the amount of electricity that can be saved are 2514KW•h and 22186KW•h per year.

Abstract: In large-scale telecommunication cables, it is not desirable for engineers to set manual tracing telecommunication cables or insert specific telecommunication cables into the corresponding wiring panel. The reason is that they are either time-consuming or unstable in accuracy. This paper introduces a cable interconnected system which is based on the RFID technology. This system enables operators to read cables connecting information with a portable RFID reader, hence obtaining relevant wiring information of the cables and connecting cables in a precise and fast way.

Abstract: The principle of reactive and expansion mufflers is that it reflects sound wave back to the direction of sound source at certain sections where acoustic behavior changes abruptly in the pipe of mufflers, to achieve muffling performance. Usually it is used for muffling the noise created by diesel, alternator at low and media frequency. GT-Power software is used in this paper to build a computer stimulation platform, through which the influence of basic structure, single-expansion chamber and insertion pipe on muffling performance are analyzed, providing reference for better design of reactive mufflers.
