Abstract: This paper applies the methods of Work Study to a certain hydraulic component company. We apply the work measurement method to measure the work time of various stations of assembly lines, and to find out both the bottle neck stations and the superfluous capability stations effecting on the line assembly capability. Basing on the principle of ECRS (Eliminate, Combine, Rearrange, Simple) and the line balancing theory, this paper provides the line balancing schema, including the improvement of the existing equipment, the reallocation of the work content for relative stations, the adjustment of the equipment and workers of some stations, the reduction of machine working time of some stations and the change of assembly line layout etc. After being improved, the work time of the bottle neck and other processes are controlled near the Taking Time. Comparing with the former assembly line, the production capability of assembly line improved up 45.6% and workshop condition is also improved.

Abstract: The profile error of a globoidal cam, resulting from rotational deviation of the location of the part in machining on a NC machine tool which has two coordinated rotational axes, is studied. A novel method of solving profile error is presented. According to this method, the minimum distance from a point on the profile actually machined to the desired profile is referred to as the profile error. Then, the mathematic model of profile error resulting from the rotational deviation of the part to be machined is built. After that, the type TC40 globoidal cam is employed as an example to solve the machining error. And the experiment of machining a globoidal cam is done. The experimental result is compared with the computed result, and they are mostly identical.

Abstract: The thermally generated defects will lower the life time in bulk silicon and cause increasing in the leakage current of individual diodes in integrated circuits, that will finally cause the malfunction with advanced devices and IC chips. The removal characteristics of hillock defects on the single bare silicon wafer generated by the thermal process were experimentally analysed with respect to the chemical additives enhanced uniform chemical etching and mechanical abrasion of high pure nano sphere colloidal silica interplaying with the alkali based polishing slurry. During the polishing, it was found that the silicon surface contacted with high speed of rotated polishing pad under the down force pressure is chemically dissolved by the slurry containing FA/O organic polyamine(R(NH2)n) agent with adding proper proportional FA/O I non ions surfactant, which effectively lowered the surface strain of slurry contacted to the reactive surface of the wafer and slurry enhanced uniform chemical etch leading to the hillock region and no hillock region. However, by the process of chemical mechanical polishing, the results show it can eliminate the hillock defects on the surface of silicon wafer thoroughly with high removal rate, and achieve lower surface roughness than before process of polishing.

Abstract: The MRBR is important to ensure the aircraft’s safety and reliability. The analysis to the structural components’ reliability is to establish the basis for its MRBR. The aviation component’s reliability obey the bathtub curve distribution, Weibull distribution, exponential distribution and a linear increasing distribution. A method of reliability analysis of structural components is proposed. According to the aircraft operating data the structural components reliability distribution is fitted. The component failure weaknesses and remedial measures can be determined according to its reliability distribution. So the perfect MRBR can be obtained. As an example the structural component slide rail is studied, which showed the slide rail reliability is the Weibull distribution and consistent with the actual running situation. So the example showed that the proposed method is reasonable. And a viable method to the development of aircraft MRBR is got.

Abstract: Nuclear fusion is one of the most important ways to resolve human energy issues. The main structure of nuclear fusion device and its functions are introduced in this article. Virtual simulation technology has been used in the process of the conceptual design, detailed design and optimization of the fusion device structure. Electromagnetic analysis of the ITER feeder system show the specific application of virtual simulation technology in nuclear fusion engineering, as well as the thermal analysis of ITER thermal shield. It verifies the importance of virtual simulation technology.

Abstract: The formula for the Rayleigh wave velocity in isotropic elastic half-space is studied by many researchers. In their deductions, Cardan’s formula of cubic equations is often used. Based on another formula instead of Cardan’s formula, a new formula for the Rayleigh wave velocity that does not contain complex number is presented here. Our new formula is more reasonable as both the parameters and Rayleigh wave velocity are real. And the computer time can be reduced since there is no complex computation. With this new formula, the variation of Rayleigh wave velocity with the parameters is computed. It shows that Rayleigh wave velocity decreases with the increase of Poission’s ratio when S-wave velocity is fixed.

Abstract: In order to get Perilla frutescens (L.) seed oil (PSO) inclusion compound with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD). The ultrasonic induced preparation parameters was studied. Basis on the signal factor test, an orthogonal experiment L9(3)4 was applied to optimize the best preparation conditions. The optimum preparation parameters were determined as follows: ultrasonic power200W, ultrasonic time20min, inclusion temperature 48°C and ratio of PSO to β-CD 1:5 (ml/g). Under optimized conditions, the inclusion ratio was 81.1%. All the results indicated that ultrasonic induced preparation of PSO inclusion compound with β-CD was a suitable method for it has shorter time and higher inclusion ratio.

Abstract: A numerical analysis on the steady-state front leakage flow of an eccentric impeller is done based on a bulk-flow model. A set of nonlinear partial differential governing equations is derived on a control volume from the flow. The SIMPLE algorithm is used to develop the computational procedure for solving the equations. A MATLAB computer program in accordance with the computational procedure is written to conduct the numerical calculations. Numerical results are represented with the diagrams of pressure and velocity distribution of the flow. The influences of the impeller eccentricity on the flow are examined in a limited range of engineering practice. Conclusions are reached that the impeller eccentricity has substantial effects on the pressure and velocity distributions of the front leakage flow.

Abstract: Aiming at the high fault rate and the problem of high fault harmfulness of civil aircraft hydraulic pumping source system, the fuzzy synthetic evaluation algorithm is researched. Aiming at the complex system, more influenced factors, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is presented to establish the weight set. Aiming at the real-time need of health assessment, the expert system is used to build membership function. Finally the method is validated by a set of data of that system.

Abstract: This study extends the new product development (NPD) to a new field; Market Driving Digital New Product Development Method is addressed in this paper, which is based on reverse engineering and rapid prototyping technology. This study finds that the higher the effort on marketing-R&D process, the less possible it might encounter risk. Thus, a better NPD performance can be achieved by market driving Digital NPD method (MDDNPD).A case study of All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) is used to illustrate the new method. We believe that the proposed methodology will have a positive impact on the future new product development.
