Abstract: Design optimization and analysis of the high power linear permanent magnet synchronous motor for aircraft launch are presented in this paper. This motor has a decentralized stator that runs the entire length of travel. A plate with an array of permanent magnets is used as the secondary. This structure enables easier manufacture, flexible system assembling, and autonomous decentralized control employed for energy saving. The thrust and cogging force of the motor are highly affected by the motor structural parameters. The influences of these structural parameters on the thrust and cogging force are analyzed by finite element analysis method; experiment studies are carried out to support the theoretical analysis.

Abstract: Because of the complexity of gear working condition, there are non-linear relationship between characteristic parameters and fault types. This paper proposes to apply the Support Vector Machine to set up the nonlinear mapping to solve the difficulties of gear fault diagnosis. Taking a certain gearbox fault signal acquisition experimental system for instance, Matlab software and its neural network toolbox are used to model and simulate. The simulation result shows the founded model has preferable learning and generalization capabilities, which performs effectively in the common gear fault diagnosis and it can identify various types of faults stably and accurately.

Abstract: The inclusion complexes of rutin/sulfobutylether-β-cyclodextrin (SBE-β-CD) were prepared by grinding, co-precipitation and ultrasonic method and then identified with differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and UV-visible spectrophotometry (UV). The molar ratio 1∶1 of rutin to SBE-β-CD in the complex was confirmed by phase solubility studies, and the dissolutions of rutin/SBE-β-CD were investigated by UV. The dissolution of rutin included in the complex showed significant increases in aqueous solution. The rutin/SBE-β-CD inclusion complex exhibited unique physical characteristics that are different from rutin.

Abstract: . A castor oil-based detection method for the analysis of biological degradation was established on the base of CEC-L-33-A-93 test method and the domestic conventional experimental methods. Difference of the test samples between the experimental and published values was less then 0.50%. Maximum error of degradation rate was 1.92% in parallel experimental. Compared to the domestic conventional methods, degradation rate obtained by the improved analysis methods of castor oil-based is approximately higher than 5.0%. Meanwhile, analysis and detection method of DIOS with advantage of high accuracy, conveniency and good reproducibility is established and showed stability by studying the correlation of parallel samples that the coefficient of variation is less than 5%.

Abstract: A simple and accurate method for determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) using carboxymethyl cellulose coated CdS quantum dots (QDs) as a fluorescence probe was established. The influence factors of the fluorescence quenching system and the optimum conditions were investigated for analysis of hydrogen peroxide. It was found that the maximum relative fluorescence quenching intensity produced at pH 8.5 in 0.035 mol/L KH2PO4-Na2HPO4, when the concentration of CdS QDs was 1.9×10-3 mol/L and the reacting time and temperature were 45 minutes and 30°C, respectively. Under the optimum conditions, the relative fluorescence quenching intensity has a linear relationship with the logarithmic concentration of H2O2 in the range from 3×10-5 to 5×10-2 mol/L. The limit of the detection is 2.3×10-6 mol/L for H2O2. The method was used to determinate the amount of remained H2O2 in milk and Calcium Tablets successfully.

Abstract: A simple A green protocol for synthesis of high quality, water-soluble and biocompatible CdS QDs have been developed in aqueous solution with amylum as stabilizing agent. The QDs were characterized by AMF and spectral methods. A fluorescence quenching method was developed for determination of iron (ΙΙΙ) with water soluble CdS quantum dots (QDs) as fluorescence probe. In pH 8.5 boric acid–borax buffer solution, the QDs show a high selective to ferric ion. The common cations, such as Ca2+, Mg2+, Zn2+, Fe2+ et al, have no effect on interference but copper ion. The fluorescence intensity of the QDs decreased linearly with the iron (QDs ) concentration in the range of 200 μM to 60 nM with a detection limit of 20 nM. It has been applied to determinate of iron in Angelica, Astragalus, Shouwu, ligusticum wallichii and radix rehmanniae recen.

Abstract: The petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate, n-hexane and aqueous successive extracts from the stems of Actinidia macrosperma C. F. Liang have been screened for antibacterial and antifungal activities in vitro using the disc diffusion method, minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC)/minimum fungicidal concentration (MFC). General toxicity of these extracts has also been assessed by brine shrimp lethality assay. The chloroform extract exhibited the most significant antimicrobial (MIC in the range of 60–500μg/ml, MBC in the range of 150–1000μg/ml, MFC in the range of 170–600μg/ml) and cytotoxic activities (LC50=16.82μg/ml at 24 hours).

Abstract: Uranium is toxic to human body with mechanisms not fully understood. The structural and functional consequences of uranyl ions (UO22+) interacting with an axial mutant of cytochrome b5, His39Ser (cyt b5 H39S), were investigated by both spectroscopic and molecular modeling methods. Although slightly disturbs protein folding, UO22+ binding to cyt b5 H39S leads to a decrease of peroxidase activity. A uranyl binding site was further proposed in the heme-binding domain at Glu37 and Glu43. The impacts of UO22+ binding to cyt b5 H39S studied herein provide valuable insights into the toxicity mechanism of UO22+ towards membrane heme proteins.

Abstract: A novel polymer APFC containing quaternary ammonium and perfluoroalkyl groups was designed and prepared by emulsion polymerization using interfacial redox initiator system, the average size of the emulsion particles was about 103nm, APFC was applied on cotton fabrics to show the antimicrobial activities and optimum water and oil repellency by a pad-dry-cure process, the water repellency scores and oil repellency ratings of the cotton fabrics finished with APFC can reach 100 and 6, respectively. We evaluated the efficacy of the antimicrobial activity of cotton fabric finished with APFC , the antimicrobial test result of the finished cotton fabric showed a 97.4% reduction in the number of Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC6358) and a 90.5% reduction in the number of Escherichia coli (ATCC8099).

Abstract: A kind of novel betaine type amphoteric surfactant was synthesized using tetradecylamine and pentaerythritol as the starting material. The influence factors of the synthesis process were studied. The optimal condition of the synthesis was gained. The results have show that the reaction time and mole ratio (Dimethyl tetradecyl tertiary/ Intermediate) were 16h and 1.2/1 at 120°C.The structure of myristyl sulpho betaine type amphoteric surfactant was identified by FTIR.Then it was performed the surface tension tests to determine the critical micelle concentration (cmc).
