Abstract: The boundary-type hybrid finite element formulation is established to solve nonlinear heat conduction in solids with temperature-dependent material definition. The Kirchhoff transformation is first used to convert the nonlinear heat transfer system into a linear system, which is then solved by the presented hybrid finite element model, in which the fundamental solutions are used to approximate the element interior fields and conventional shape functions are used for the element boundary fields. The weak integral functional is developed to link these two fields and establish the stiffness equation. The accuracy and stability of the algorithm are tested on two examples involving various thermal conductivities to verify the present formulation.

Abstract: This paper presents a grain moisture measurement method based on storage pressure. The system mainly includes the structure and circuit hardware design of a test sensor. The software system using visual programming language, combined with MATLAB, established a grain moisture model, to achieve the measurement on grain moisture. Finally, the experimental analysis was made on the system. The results show that this moisture measurement method is practical and stable.

Abstract: The presented work is focused on stress - strain analysis of a reconstruction plate. For this problem the computational modelling was chosen with using finite element method. Mandible was created based on the methods of Reverse Engineering and CT images. Using these methods a STL model of mandible with cortical and cancellous bone tissue was created. A volume model of lower jaw with applied reconstruction plate was created in CAD software. A Symphysis fracture of lower jaw was modeled in calculation program ANSYS. The cancellous bone tissue is modeled with different mechanical properties, which corresponds to the varying quality of this tissue. In this work an influence of varying quality of cancellous bone tissue to von Mises stress is observed.

Abstract: Numerical Investigation of Effect Pilot Injection on Combustion Noise and Exhaust Emission of Diesel Engine The traditional mechanical fuel supply system has already been no way to satisfy the requirement of more stringent fuel consumption and emission legislation. For the past few years, it has been a hot topic to improve performance of diesel engine combustion and emission through optimizing the fuel injection strategy. All kinds of spray, combustion and emission models were studied and then the numerical models for the single-injection combustion of 1015 diesel engine were setup and validated through comparing with results from experimental data. With the above verified models, different injection strategies were further investigated to get the effect mechanism of pilot injection (PI) timing and quantity on combustion noise and exhaust emission.

Abstract: Outline extraction is the key technology of automatically generating roll trajectory in flexible roll forming process. The main purpose of this article is to extract outline from the grid lines of 3D surface in the STL (Stereo lithography) files. Using the functions of file stream and character manipulation provided by C++ Standard Library to read the STL file, using the GLUT(OpenGL Utility Toolkit) to build models, this article investigates the algorithms for outline extraction based on MFC Single Document Interface (SDI) Application.

Abstract: Using the first principles method, which is based on the density function theory (DFT), the structures and electronic properties of S atoms are adsorbed on the Fe (100) surface for X(X is Cr, Ni, Mo, C, Mn ,Si,P and S) impurities in Fe, and their molecular orbital and absorption energies were calculated with the generalized gradient approximation. The results show that S adsorbed on H site for Cr, Ni, Mn, C and Mo impurities in Fe is stable but for Si, S and P is B site. The adsorption energy for Ni in impurity Fe is almost nearby for the purity Fe and the effect for Ni in S absorption on Fe (100) surface is very small. In order to prevent S absorption on Fe surface,we can reduce the percentage of Ni.

Abstract: As a huge knowledge base, patent, including a mass of invention information, has the power of balance in product innovation. Based on the fact that some fixed phrases are included in the patent, e.g.” the existing technical problems”,” the advantage of the invention”, this paper codes these phrases and programs with related software to realize extracting information from the patent’s background, technical proposal, advantage and so on automatically. At last, an application of the method is listed to show detailed process.

Abstract: Most of Chinese folk houses have the “reserved” feature. As a partition of residences inside and outside, the door has a strong cultural flavor in decorative arts. The image of Chinese doorknocker in the door decoration highlights the imposing of “true”, “god”, “beauty” characters, and it becomes the carrier of traditional folk culture and “religious” culture. This door decoration implies an ancient and deep idea, and reflects the simple emotion of the public and it is the architectural heritage with the value of Chinese traditional culture.

Abstract: The acoustic horn plays a very vital part in high energy ultrasonic machining, and its design is critical to the quality and the efficiency of machining. This paper performs the analysis and design of acoustic horns for ultrasonic machining by employing ANSYS finite element software. Firstly, the theoretical dimensions of the horns are calculated and compared to three commercial available horns with different shapes. Moreover, their natural frequencies and amplitudes are obtained through the simulations of ANSYS. Finally, the numerical results are compared with commercial available horns.

Abstract: Analysis of vibration characteristics when the cage is locking. Deduce vibration model by elastic lifting rope, interaction of sheave and rope. Based on step function, a wire rope vibration mode function, vibration displacement and tension solution are given. Results show that the cage locking device reduces impact and avoids the slippery rope and the security hidden danger. The vibration model of locking cage process is applied to the cage jammed situation. If the frequency during sudden jam is greater than or equal to the fundamental frequency, hoisting wire rope fracture does not occur.
