Abstract: Automated quality control of aspheric optical lens is a development tendency of precision grinding manufacturing in the near future. Grinding wheel status changes as the grinding time elapses and it has a close relationship with the ground surface. Therefore, an online estimation system of grinding wheel status is studied and established in this paper in order to judge the wheel’s life-cycle automatically and dress it in a proper occasion. Several representative process quantities are selected and characters of the dynamical signals are abstracted to provide all-around information about the evolvement of grinding wheel status. Dempster-Shafer evidence theory is employed by the estimation system to acquire a reliable decision about grinding wheel status.

Abstract: Grinding wheel wear has an obvious stage character, only in the end of wear stage, the workpiece surface quality will decrease significantly, in order to avoid such situation, need to find the critical point of grinding wheel wear in time. Based on the production field data, combined with the application of hypothesis test method, a new method to infer grinding wheel wear state was established in the article, the degree of grinding wheel wear can be quantificationally analyzed. Via practical production testing, is checked that the new method is effective.

Abstract: Features and control methods in processes of unstable continuous casting of the 4th department of general steelmaking factory of WISCO were introduced, including ladle free-opening, tundish auto-casting, liquid level control and submerged nozzle’s quick replacing of mould, slag detection of ladle and so on. Countermeasures including updating facilities, improving accurate of controlling system, developing new technology were proved to be effective in practice, they can minimize the bad effect of the unsteady state to the producing stability and slab quality.

Abstract: Aim at the effect of the control method in traditional metallurgy furnace temperature is not good, a self-tuning fuzzy PID control method combining fuzzy control with PID control was proposed in this paper based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the PID control and fuzzy control method, and a concrete control algorithm was put forward and simulation experiment was finished. The simulation results show that the effect of the controller is good, and the control of system is fast and smoothly according to it.

Abstract: This paper introduces the innovation on quality control from a single Tmall mode to online and offline interaction mode taken by the biggest Chinese e-commerce platform operator of Alibaba. During analysis, problem Alibaba has ever faced is followed by specific approach it applied, and then by a discussion of relative issues. What a reader can learn from this research is that the innovation is designed for the purpose of providing cost-effective, high-quality goods with perfect services. Consumer-oriented evaluation design and joint certification and control with suppliers and third-party agencies are severing for these purposes.

Abstract: Abstract : Aiming at the controlled object with large lag, model uncertainty and time variation due to the effects of working environment in printing process, and printing process requires few adjustment times, this paper designs a T-S fuzzy controller based on the theoretical model of printing color quality control, and uses the genetic algorithm to optimize the initial control rules of fuzzy controller . The optimization method aims at the problems of less known condition and the uncertain effects due to the environmental changes after the first printing. In the process of optimization, the theoretical model of the printing color quality control is used as the controlled object, and the parameters of control rule corresponding to the points of special error are optimized one by one, then the general fuzzy control rules can be got. Finally, an example illustrates the process of this method, and the robustness of the optimized fuzzy controller is analyzed. From the control results got by the optimized fuzzy controller, it can be seen that this method improves the control effects greatly, and reduces adjustment times. Finally, this paper gives some suggestions on its further perfection.

Abstract: In recent years, with the trend of auto body lightweight, more and more auto manufacturers pay attention to warm-hot forming of laser tailor weld blank (LTWB). In this article, choosing Audi Q5 B-pillar as the study object provided by Benchmark 2008 and using the stamping specific software Autoform, the effects of blank holder force (BHF) and drawbead on the formability of B-pillar are studied in different forming tempreture and put forward the reverse compensation method to control the weld line offset and the reverse compensation quantity is quantized, which has great significance to direct the industrial production, determine the process parameters of warm-hot forming and reduce the times of trying dies.

Abstract: The accuracy measurement of fine-pitch gears within module 0.02-0.2mm in batch production is one of the puzzle problems in industry because of its small amout of dimension and rigidity. Based on the gear integrated error measurement technology developed by CTRI in China and Frenco in Germany, a kind of differential roll-scanning measuring technology and a differential fine-pitch gear integrated error measuring machine first developed by the authors are introduced briefly in the paper, including the working principle and calculation formulas of ‘two synchronized rotate-driving systems, one differential-compensation closed-loop measurement’ , the stucture of ‘spindle on spindle’ and ‘differential composite driving spindle system’ of the master gear, and the unique master gear with ‘every other tooth thinned’ followed the principle of overlap coefficient not bigger than 1 for a few certain gear pairs,and also the special made hob for making the thinned master gear. The measuring results of four items of deviations, including pitch, profile, tangential composite and integrated deviations of product fine-pitch gears show the feasibility and prospect of the new developed measuring technology and machine in future industry application.

Abstract: The deviation analysis of hull construction is a common problem in shipbuilding. In this paper, we present an automatic registration method of hull blocks points measured by Total Station based on principal component analysis (PCA) and the iterative closest point (ICP) algorithm. The method is divided into two steps. The first step rough registration based on PCA can narrow the dislocation between measurement points and CAD model points giving closed initialization. The second step refined registration based on ICP can obtain the optimal solution. The algorithm can automatically match measurement data with CAD model without prior information on transformation. We have applied this method to the registration of the Hull Block Point Clouds in a bulk carrier. Our result shows that the algorithm works efficiently.

Abstract: Abstract. Enzyme utilization today constitutes an important and essential part of processes used by the modern food industries. The objective of this research was to investigate the enzymatic skinning of catfish nuggets optimized by response surface methodology to remove the peritoneal membrane of nuggets. The effect of enzyme concentration, temperature, and time was carried out using central composite design. The response surface methodology found out that the optimized process conditions for good skinning and maximum yield were the following: (a) any enzyme concentration, temperature 42°C, time 12 min; (b) 0.15% enzyme concentration, temperature 35°C and time 12 min. This finding is important for maximize enzyme utilization on manufacture processes used by the catfish industries.
