Abstract: The paper has studied the allocation strategy according to the cargo in the bulk terminal because yard is the important resource in terminal. Coal is the typical goods in bulk terminal, so the rules are extracted in this paper from the character of coal, management principles of coal terminal and the characteristics of equipments. Then the yard allocation model based on rules is designed. It can choose the suitable position to put the coal in the yard by three steps which are available positions acquiring, equipment and yards matching, suitable position choosing. The production efficiency and the rate of yard utilization are improved by using this model. At last a case is tested by the simulation in order to prove that the method designed in this paper is useful.

Abstract: The automatic scheduling is not suitable for manufacture in most case, because it cannot fully utilize the experience of the operator and effectively response the disturbance events from the production progress. In order to solve these problems the manual scheduling technology using the pattern of human-computer collaborative is proposed. The graphical scheduling block has been discrete through applying the kernel methods including the combination of multi-layer displaying of Gantt-Chart, the model of machine calendar, mouse selected mechanism and auxiliary function for manual scheduling. By building multi-layer normative modular manual scheduling operations, we divide the manual scheduling operation into three steps: the selection of manual scheduling process, the selection of the inserting base, and the inserting mode. At the same time constrains transferring mode provoked by the three kinds of inserting mode is analyzed. By controlling constrains in the progress of the manual adjustment makes sure that the manual scheduling result meets the demand of job shop production. Finally, the algorithms in this paper are validated by the software developed with C++.

Abstract: E-commerce has been particularly influential in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Along with globalization, information and communications technologies are the best that we have as agents of change among developed economies as well as developing and underdeveloped economies. This paper seeks to understand E-commerce adoption and usage by small and medium-sized enterprises. This paper provides an overview of the study and the research design of the project. It begins with a background to the research, statement of the problem, the significance and concludes of the study.

Abstract: Consumer demands are getting increasingly delicate and personalized, while retailers’ stocking is changing into an advanced mode with more varieties, smaller quantities and multi-batch. As an advanced delivery model, joint distribution is capable to integrate social resources, improve logistics distribution efficiency, ease urban traffic and reduce environmental pollution, and to improve the urban logistics. Basic concepts and operation models are discussed in the paper, and several suggestions for solving the existing problems are proposed.

Abstract: There are increasing firms go to foreign markets quickly to reach their international strategy, particularly some firms come from emerging economies. It is hard to explain in the conventional theory of gradual internationalization, and different from the viewpoints of born-global. We argue that this previous discussion does not consider enough the risk of being a late mover in the face of changing period of its industry. This study explores the circumstances under which capabilities accumulated, changing and globalization, a strategy of undertaking outward foreign direct investment at a quicker speed, could be a considerable strategy. Using a case study on Chinese firm, we find that rapid FDI expansion enhances firm performance in industries where are competitive intense and paradigm-changing, and when it is done by firms with superior internal capabilities.

Abstract: This paper is focused on the study of (T, S) stock strategies in dynamic supply chains. The dynamic supply chain means the retailer can change his suppliers in every purchase period for more profits. Four categories of two-stage supply chain structures consisting of multiple suppliers and a single retailer are considered. Two categories of auction mechanisms, single-winner or multi-winner auction, are used in this paper. A multi-agent model is developed to study these four categories of supply chains. The results of experiments show that, with the decrease of safety stock, the tendencies of the retailer’s profit are changed under different structures. Also, the optimal (near-optimal) safety stock, corresponding to the maximum profit, shows significant difference under different structures. The results of this paper demonstrate that the safety stock can be significantly changed and financial benefits can be achieved while working under different supply chain structures with (T, S) strategy.

Abstract: On the basis of analysis of domestic and inland management models for biogas projects, this article has learned experience from foreign experiences on operation and management of biogas projects. The key factor for medium and large biogas projects is professionalized operation and Specialized company who is an agency by agreement of the project investor. The new professionalized model manages biogas projects in comprehensive and systematic manner as per market demand, and provides efficient compressive services so that biogas projects could produce maximum social, economic, environmental and biological benefits. Thus, the new model which caters for requirements of market economy is a highly efficient vibrant modern management model for biogas industry. According to case analysis results, Hunan HuiMing Environmental Protection Energy Corporation is an experienced company that could be employed to operate and manage large and medium biogas projects.

Abstract: Heavy handling equipment is the key factor to improve the level of logistic service in container terminal. In order to solve the problem of information sharing in maintenance management, this paper integrates the equipment information which locates in different spatial location on the container terminal and analysis the traditional maintenance method, giving the construction and functional modules of maintenance system, which will reduce the cost of heavy container handling equipment maintenance and improves the operational efficiency of terminal.

Abstract: This paper points out that the rapid response is the core competitiveness of agile supply chain, discerns influence factors on response speed effectively, and expounds how these factors influence the operational efficiency of the agile supply chain. Finally, it provides reference to enterprise about how to analyze various factors on response speed and improve related factors by constructing grey correlation model.

Abstract: The main target of supply chain management is to control inventory of each node enterprise effectively with the minimum cost. In this paper, the control strategies and methods of inventory based on supply chain management are put forward, which are significant for saving the cost of supply chain and improving the overall benefits of the whole chain.
