Abstract: An intelligent self-locking system of clutch which uses MC9S12XS128MAL as the main microcontroller was designed in this research. The system detects whether the door is completely closed or not by the position switch installed in the door rail to achieve control of the clutch pedal. When the door of bus is not completely closed, the driver cannot push down the clutch pedal to drive the bus. Doing that can we achieve automotive driver assistance and further improve driving safety. This paper also discusses the design of the system’s hardware circuitry and procedures.

Abstract: In this study, a multi-shape object-oriented human motion model is built using HumanCAD simulation platform to simulate the movement of a particular action; taking structural load-bearing characteristics as the objective function, combined with ergonomic parameters of the constraints, using particle swarm optimization, the study has made an optimized simulation of lower limb three-hinge power-assisted structure for multi-object under multiple constraints and established solid models with Solidworks based on the optimization; the study has realized data exchange between the analysis software of Ansys and the solid models, built a multi-rod coupling analysis model, made the strength calculation and modal analysis, proposed optimization strategies to make improvement, and provided parameters for structural dynamics optimization design.

Abstract: Based on the analyzing of the characteristic of the flexible job-shop scheduling problem (FJSP), we proposed an improved genetic algorithm. To consider the max finish-time, total delay-time, keeping workload balance among the machines, a new selection operator is proposed, which combines random method, proportion-based selection method with elitist retention policy. The improved genetic algorithm using the proposed selection operator is tested on some standard instances. The experimental results validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Abstract: In order to control the curve modality of non-uniform rational B-spline accurately, the genetic algorithm is presented to the manipulative precision of NURBS curve fitting. The manipulative precision of curve fitting and the overall side-by-side search ability of genetic algorithm were researched; the excellent unit is founded in the field of weight coefficient. The precision result and the curve figure of curve fitting using the excellent weight coefficient are better. The examples of data fitting are given to show that the curves fitting used genetic algorithms are better in approximation. The precision result of curve fitting is improved. The global optimal search of genetic algorithm provides a reliable tool for scientific data processing.

Abstract: In the paper, both stereo vision and positional solution are used to measure the position and orientation of 6-DOF parallel robot. Firstly, moving platform is segmented from the background based on temporal and spatial union algorithm, rough position and orientation of moving platform are obtained by feature point extraction and match; secondly, rough length of supported leg is calculated according to rough position and orientation of moving platform; finally, accurate position and orientation of parallel robot are calculated using both actual length measured by sensors and positional solution. Experiment results demonstrate that the position and orientation calculated by the above algorithm have high accuracy.

Abstract: The aim of naval ship evacuation is to direct crewmembers form the dangerous cabins to mustering station or action station as quickly as possible, when the ship is likely to be attacked or on fire. While evacuating, the crew’s escape routes have to open various watertight doors or airtight doors, which will speed evacuation but it may also degrade the ship’s post-evacuation integrity. In the proposed the multi-objective path program model for warship emergency evacuation, in consideration of the conflict between the minimization of total travel time and the minimization of ship’s integrity. The multi-objective problem was converted into single objective problem by weighted method. The crew speed on each arc depends on the total number of evacuees traversing the arc at roughly the same time. We proposed a heuristic algorithm to solve the multi-objective time-varied escape route planning problem. Finally, a numerical example is presented to show the effectiveness and feasibility of this algorithm.

Abstract: Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is a kind of evolutionary computation technology which simulates the behavior of biological species. The essence of adaptive noise cancellation (ANC) is adjust the weight value of filter based on the input signals, the LMS algorithm is commonly used in this system, However, the convergence behavior and maladjustment of the LMS algorithm is seriously affected by the step-size μ, and the optimum value of μ cannot be determined easily, In this paper, Particle Swarm Optimization with linear decreasing inertia weight is proposed to solve the filter problem instead of LMS, taking the FIR filter of ANC as example, the simulation shows that ANC based on the PSO algorithm is better than classic ANC based on the LMS algorithm, and it gives the satisfactory results.

Abstract: In the light of the structure and function properties of the GJW111 excavator, We propose the overall design and the framework system of fault diagnosis based on Multi-Agent System (MAS), express the process of fault diagnosis and introduce the components of the system. The system supports plug and play, which can improve its scalability.

Abstract: The paper contributes to the field of ship design by investigating the applicability of formal strategies to the optimization of a ship’s hydrodynamic performance. A study on the geometric modeling, hydrodynamic analysis, design evaluation and shape variation of a DTMB5415 is presented. Optimization Algorithm is utilized to explore the design space and to improve the hull shape. The hydrodynamic design process is implemented: An advanced parametric modeling kernel is applied for efficient form generation and variation. The hydrodynamic performance is analyzed by state-of-the-art Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes for calm water resistance. A commercial optimization system is used to integrate the various CAD and CFD tools and to carry out the optimization.
