Abstract: This paper is aimed at development of a numerical model for a double-acting Stirling engine in adiabatic conditions. By taking into account the ideal and non-ideal adiabatic conditions, the periodic variation of pressures, volumes, temperatures, masses, and heat transfers in the expansion and compression spaces are predicted. And the power output and overall efficiency on the geometrical and physical parameters of the General Motors 4L23 with the numerical model have been validated, the results calculated by the model are close to the tested data. The heat conduction loss of the piston wall, shuttle loss of the piston and the leakage of operating gas have not been taken into account, so the calculated value with non-ideal adiabatic model is slightly higher than the tested value of the prototype engine.

Abstract: A trigonometric polynomial Coons patch analogous to the standard bicubic Coons patch, with two shape parameters, is presented in this work. The proposeded patch not only has the same properites to the standard bicubic Coons patch, but also can be adjusted by altering values of the shape parameters when the interpolation conditions are fixed. Given proper conditions, the proposed patch can accurately represent torus and ellipsoid.

Abstract: In this paper, in order to optimize the shape of a snowboard course, we address the problem with the consideration of four key parameters.Based on a detailed physical analysis, we establish a model to simulate the trajectory of a skilled snowboarder by using Simulated Annealing. Finally, we adopt (SA) algorithm to find out the optimal snowboard course.

Abstract: Nowadays, technology rapid development, the living standard of people also is rising, household devices gradually to the trend of electrification development, in the meantime, the fire also increase annually in caused by electrical equipment. The solar energy water heater used more widely, because the product quality, installation and improper use fire in the number of rising sharply. Among them, caused by electric heating cable fault accounts for a bigger chunk of fire, so the identification of electric heating cable fire are particularly important. We can made comprehensive Analysis on electric heating cable trace utilize the technical means of macroscopical method and metallographic method etc., judge its melting nature, can provide strong technical support for fire investigation.

Abstract: A deinking progress selectivity concept that be expressed by deinking efficiency and pulp yield was proposed for comparing different flotation equipments or progresses. Expression of deinking selectivity was given out in the paper, which is expressed by the ratio of deinking efficiency and flotation rejection loss. Application of deinking selectivity in evaluating the deinking performance of flotation progresses was illustrated by using three typical laboratory flotation equipments.

Abstract: Interaction detection methods have led to the discovery of thousands of interactions between proteins, and discerning relevance within large-scale data sets is important to present-day biology. As an important means for knowledge discovery, graph clustering attracts much attention in analysis of protein-protein interaction networks. Here, a modularity-based method was used to find communities of protein-protein interaction networks. Using this method, 177 communities were detected from a network involving 11,855 interactions among 2617 proteins in yeast and annotated according to MIPS hierarchical functional categories. We validated that these communities are indeed densely connected subgraphs.

Abstract: Finite element method (FEM) has been one of the most important numerical simulation tools with the development of computer technology. However, it is only used to simulate and analyze different process offline in many fields because of the longer computational time. The influencing factors of prediction of temperature in the strip rolling by FEM including equations, mesh and storage of matrix was investigated in the paper. The lumped heat capacity matrix was introduced to resolve the oscillation problem and improve precision. Furthermore, the refined elements layer upon layer was discussed to improve solution efficiency and precision. In addition, in order to improve the solution efficiency one dimensional compressed storage method was employed to carry out in the solution of equations. The FEM program code for the solution of temperature was embed in the online rolling control system program successfully. The predictive results are in good agreement with the measured value. The computational time and precision are satisfied in the strip rolling process.

Abstract: Based on ABAQUS, this article builds up a dispersion cracking model and carries out the numerical simulation of the influence of sea water erosion depth and intension upon marine recycled concrete specimen. Compared with stress-strain curve from the experiment, it can be easily found that the experimental results match well with that of simulation through the numerical simulation of uniaxial compression on average concrete, recycled concrete corroded by seawater and the same concrete after vacuum pumping, which shows two kinds of curves stay close to each other. From the results of the simulation, strain develops from the edges to the middle of the cube until it runs through the whole section, which basically corresponds with the outcome observed in the experiment.

Abstract: In this paper, feasibility of aluminium deposition on inner wall of pipes by atomic layer deposition was studied. Firstly, by solving kinetics equation of gas adsorption on the pipe inner wall, the time for the reactant to reach saturated adsorption on the wall was calculated. Secondly, according to the aluminium crystal structure, the thickness of each deposition cycle was obtained. Finally, the minimum aluminium thickness and number of atomic layer deposition cycles that can meet electromagnetic requirement of wave guide was calculated.
