Abstract: The generation of leak along the pipeline carrying crude oils and liquid fuels results enormous financial loss to the industry and also effects the environment and public health. Therefore, the leak detection and localization problem has always been a major concern for the corporation. Pipeline detection and location system plays a key role in many industrial processes and activities. In this paper, a leak detection scheme based on generalized correlation time delay estimation algorithm is proposed to solve the problem of leak detection. By estimating the time delay of the two received signals, the system can provide the information of the leak. The experimental results indicate the effectiveness of this approach.

Abstract: The sensor location optimization is the special problem of distributed parameter systems(DPS) for parameter identification. It has a great influence on the accuracy of parameter identification and it is important to optimal control of DPS. Therefore, it has a great significance to research the strategy of sensor optimal measurement locations for DPS. In this paper, based on the orthogonal function approximation method, Haar wavelet transforms method is applied to research the problem of sensor measurement locations of DPS. The method based on Fisher information matrix derived from the differential sensitivity equations is proposed to determine the sensor optimal measurement locations. The identification examples prove that the proposed method based on wavelet transforms is feasible and effective to locate the sensor in order to obtain the optimal measurement values. The algorithm makes the calculation simple, easy and accurate.

Abstract: In this paper the process of transient analysis of synchronous generator is analyzed when the load is switched. After the load changed, the excitation response curve of mobile station is obtained via matlab simulation, which provides a theoretical basis for excitation control of the mobile station, then can be helpful for optimizing the motor running and the design of motor protection.

Abstract: The difficulty of measuring the run-out of engine valve seat related to the centerline of the valve guide is the determination of the datum axis. A method that the gauge was fixed on the conical surface of the valve seat was chosen. One sensor on the conical surface of the gauge measures the run-out of the valve seat related to the centerline of the gauge. Another two sensors of the gauge measures the centerline of the valve guide. The mathematic model of measurement is established, the run-out of the valve seat related to the centerline of the valve guide can be archived.

Abstract: The energy consumption of bag house is formed by equipment structure resistance and filter layer resistance, and the filter layer is constituted by smoke dust. In running condition, the structure of filter layer would be changed by sedimentation or backmixing of particles. In order to finding the influence between energy consumption and structure of filter layer, two different structure of filter layer has been studied by experiment. The result show: Layers structure and mixture structure of particles and smoke dust are significant effect on resistance, and it is shown parabola relationship. While the ratio of mass is low, the increase rate of change is low.

Abstract: Regarding high precision and automatic control requirements for management and control system of oil depot, this paper applied RF technology in in-out oil management and automatic control theory in automatic control system of oil depot. Thus, a novel oil depot automatic in-out control system based on three level structure and RF technology was designed. In the system, the three level structures are composed of on-site control level, site management level and remote management level. A mode of combining control instruments with PLC controller was adopted in on-site control level and VB .Net was used as software for upper computer. The designed non-contact IC card management software for oil access and in-out oil control system will simplify the operation process of employees; approve levels of safe management and data accuracy for oil access in oil depot. Field tests show that this system has advantage of high control accuracy achieved 0.2 magnitude, high precision of data acquisition and easy operation for control management. The system provides an efficient technology approach for raising the level of automation and management in the oil industry.

Abstract: Steel surface defect detection is the key point of this research. The paper mainly focuses on the image processing and image feature extraction of the steel plate surface. The paper also focuses on the calculating procedure and results of the fractal dimension in different defects images. It can be concluded from the results of the study, fractal dimension of the defect images becomes an important feature of the steel plate surface image pattern recognition.

Abstract: Aimed at the puzzle of being difficult to actualize the monitoring of water quality resulted from massive land and complex terrain in three gorges basin of Changjiang River, In order to make monitoring of the water quality get more flexible, faster, easier and accurate, the paper designed a sort of monitoring system of three gorges basin in water environment based on WSN. In the paper, it researched the system architecture, analyzed the network design of system, built the wireless mesh network, designed the data acquisition monitoring module, and discussed the monitor center and software design. It took the parameter test of temperature, pH value and heavy metal irons etc in the river as an example, the data accepted by monitor center displayed that it could accurately reflect the actual field situation. The experiment result shows that the design of unmanned remote monitoring system is feasible and reasonable.

Abstract: Aiming at the disadvantages of conventional relays in control of mine hoists, this article induces application of full digital DC speed adjusting device based on PROFIBUS-DP field bus. This article gives the control system hardware configuration and software design. This design can make mine hoists perform stably and safely, fully meeting the requirements of modern mining hoists system to upgrade.

Abstract: A design proposal for a kind of online programming electronic detonator is introduced in this paper. The safety and reliability of the design is analyzed, and then the methods for realizing the design proposal are exploited. The structure of the electronic detonator, the internal control circuit structure diagram, and part of the software flowchart, are presented. The time programmable increment step of 1 millisecond is arrived at, while the programmable delay time of this system ranging from 1 to 12000 milliseconds is obtained. Taking its safety and reliability, its accuracy in delay time, and its easy of use, into account, the online programming electronic delay detonator proposed in this paper will be extensively applicable to complicated blasting engineering in the future.
