Abstract: The paper researches the using frequency of Continuous Improvement’s measure and the effect on enterprises, performance. With the continuing changes of the society, the enterprises are facing more and more uncertainty and unpredictability. As a continuously incremental process of enterprise’s level innovation capability, Continuous Improvement has become an important strategy to maintain the manufacturing competitiveness of the enterprises. Choosing the suitable measures is the key of Continuous Improvement. On the basis of international investigation of Continuous Improvement, the paper analyzes the using frequency of Continuous Improvement’s measure and makes a comparison of Chinese, Australian and European enterprises. The results show that foreign enterprises pay more attention to standardized process than Chinese enterprises. Through the analysis of the relationship between Continuous Improvement’s measure and Continuous Improvement’s performance, the results show that standardized process has a big effect on Continuous Improvement’s measure. On the basis of these researches, the paper thinks that Chinese enterprises should increase the understanding and application of standardized process when Chinese enterprises carry out Continuous Improvement.

Abstract: Compound curve network is built to defined asymmetric sharp features in combined subdivision surface. The basic idea is to make the construction of sharp features separate from the definition of global surface and build compound curve networks consisting of base curve network and feature curve network. The curve’s subdivision rules and correct operator applying on common vertexes directly connected with curve vertexes are redefined to generate asymmetric sharp feature, and subdivision times is selected as sharp feature factor to control the sharp degree of features. When different sharp feature factors are defined at the two sides of interpolated curves, asymmetric features are generated on them. Curves of base curve network and curves of feature curve network take part in the subdivision of the interpolated surface in turn. Examples show that our method is effective and can get high quality interpolated surface.

Abstract: The design of a fuel consumption instrument for diesel locomotive including its working principle, hardware and software is presented in this paper. As one of constituent parts of overall performance test system for DF series diesel locomotive, it is applied to measure the fuel level in the tank of diesel locomotive based on Siphon Principle, collect and process data, output or store the fuel consumption in the overall performance test.

Abstract: The paper studies fuzzy fault control for a class of nonlinear system with input delay based on T-S fuzzy model. The state feedback controller that ensures the stability of fuzzy tolerant control system is given via Lyapunov theory and derived in terms of LMI and the results are delay-dependent. Simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the approach.

Abstract: The harm of coal dust under mining coal is really serious, so how to effectively control it has always been a tough problem. This paper analyzes the cause of creating dust over the coal face, and introduces the application of dust intelligent control in detail based on the reality situation of coal mining. Though the application of intelligent dustproof system, the concentration of the coal dust has been reduced by 333.9mg/m3 to 21.7mg/m3, the result is creating a good working environment for workers, this system has the higher valuable application.

Abstract: The distributed parameter systems(DPS) are usually described by the partial differential equations(PDEs). Compared the variable structure control problem of DPS with that of the lumped parameter systems(LPS) , it is more complicated because the problem of variable structure control for DPS is often closely related to the theory of the differential operator or integral operator. Based on Haar wavelets transform, the operational matrixes and their characteristics, this paper attempts to propose a new approach for the variable structure control problem of a class linear time-invariant DPS by converting it into that of lumped parameter systems(LPS) and then makes use of the mature research methods of LPS to design the variable structure control problem so as to solve the variable structure control problem of DPS. The proposed method in this paper has the advantages of the simpler algorithm, less computation and better control effect. The simulation results also prove that it is an efficient algorithm for DPS.

Abstract: A kind of PLC automatic control system which is used to flush toilet consists of programmable controller, proximity switch sensor and solenoid valve. By means of proximity switch sensor receiving input signal with the core PLC, PLC gives motion instruction to control solenoid valve carrying out flushing toilets automatically. In addition, this paper presents controlling procedure of ladder diagram. In the practical process of application, the system is of high sensitivity and good stability, at the meanwhile, the hardware circuit is simple and easier to be maintained. As far as the system is concerned, the system can be applied to different places with appropriate designs of procedure. Owning to the good universals and low cost there is better prospect for application.

Abstract: Gear Measuring Center(GMC) is commonly used to test error of the tooth surface of the gear, whose geometric accuracy directly impacts on the accuracy of measurement. How to quickly and accurately detect space geometric error of the measuring machine and compensate becomes the essential means of high-precision measurements. According to the problem above, in the paper, three-beams laser detection technology is proposed. The detection of the geometric errors of the linear axis was achieved. The accurate measurement for the position and attitude of the plane mirror on measurement seat was achieved based on laser telemetry principle. The positioning error, the pitching angle errors, the deflection angle errors and the straightness errors were separated. And then based on multi-body system theory, by using of homogeneous coordinate transformation, the error compensation model of 4-axis measuring machine which includes three shifting pairs and one revolute pair was established, and the algorithm was given in the paper. The theoretical foundation for real-time compensation of 4-axis GMC was established. The geometric errors of GMC can be improved by the method of the error detection and compensation. The method plays a very important role in high-precision measurements.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to integrate two methodological approaches to explore concept structures. One approach is student-problem chart (S-P chart) and ordering theory (OT) and the other is fuzzy clustering and item relational structure (IRS). S-P chart is adopted to classify all students into proper learning styles. OT is to determine hierarchies of concept structures. Fuzzy clustering is soft computation to cluster features of students and combine IRS so as to determine the precondition and ordering relationship among items. The empirical data is statistics concepts test of university students. The results show that integration of these two approaches is feasible for cognition diagnosis and would be helpful for remedial instruction. Finally, some suggestions and recommendations for future research and educational research are provided.

Abstract: The hot wire type air flow meter is an important tool in measuring the quality of air flow. It is widely used in Santana engine, and in this article, the application in exhaust analyzer is introduced. The basis theory, the basic principle and the application of the hot wire type air flow meter are presented. The main purpose of this article is using the least square method to fit the standard data, calibrating accurately the flow meter by making the curve fit, then using standard tests and comparing the results with the standard current flux at last. The results indicate that the hot wire type air flow meter is accurate in surveying the flux of the exhaust gas.
