Abstract: With the popularity of wireless communication systems, the question of radio signal coverage is getting more and more attentions in corridor for high-rise buildings. Using loss rectangular dielectric waveguide theory, the attenuation of electromagnetic wave transmission rate is calculated in theory. Because of the complexity of electromagnetic waves propagation conditions, site measurement of transmission loss is done in band 210MHz, 460MHz, 1.2GHz and 2.0GHz. Measurement results show that the wireless signal transmission loss rate is similar with the calculation of loss rectangular dielectric waveguide theory on the trend

Abstract: This paper mainly introduces the wireless sensor network monitoring system composed of the nodes and the base station. The software and hardware of this system are analyzed and designed. The MSP430 MCU which is low power consumption is used as a controller chip; meanwhile RF communications chip RF2401L is selected by the monitoring system. This paper elaborates the architecture of the monitoring system, the responsive communication mode between nodes and the base station and the design of the software process.

Abstract: Using the Ultraviolet Visible Spectroscopical Photometry method, the Ginsenosides content was detected, and evaluated the measuring uncertainty of the Ginsenosides content, analyzed the main source of the uncertainty components, finally evaluated and calculated the uncertainty components. The results showed that, when the Ginsenosides content is in the range of 20-120g, there is a good linear relation, and the linear equation is A=0.0216+0.00556C, r=0.9961 (coefficient correlation). For example, when the content of Ginsenosides is 4.60%, the expanded uncertainty of Ginsenosides measurement is U=0.408%, the coverage factor is 2 (k=2). This study provides a reliable theoretical basis for an effective and high quality method of Ginsenosides content measurement

Abstract: The control system of a new type of intelligent household water meter which can prevent water leakage is designed in this paper. That water drives the rotor-wing rotating can make micro direct-current generator generate and store power used for the system power supply. OMRON EE-SX671 type photoelectric sensor to detect water flow is used in the system. And a new water electromagnetic valve is designed, the type of which is normally open and direct-operated. If closed, it will be self-locking state and not need power supply. But it needs be reset manually. The design program based on AT89C52 single-chip microcomputer not only displays water flow using LED but also controls the automatic shut-off function of electromagnetic valve.

Abstract: The on-line monitoring of excavator parameters provide much guidance on analyzing the status of the excavator and debugging control function of the new prototype. On the Basis of analyzing the constitution of the excavator control system as well as the way how the parameters transfer, the parameters transferred between GPS and controller MCU was set as the collection objectives to design the monitor system of excavator with LabVIEW. The monitor system has been made field test on excavators. The result indicated that the system can correctly analyze communication data packet and obtain all the parameters during communication, which can provide a new method for the real-time analysis of the excavator’s status.

Abstract: Hough transform is an effective way in object recognition and applied to many industrial processes. Based on the principle of Hough transform, a new algorithm which can detect objects through an affine transform was proposed in this paper. First, application of Hough transform to extract straight lines in a model image and a scene image, got these coordinates of the lines, sorted according to the direction angle. Because of affine transform and the periodic direction angle, the direction order of the lines on scene image were different from those on the model image, these lines on scene image were expanse a cycle. Finally affine transform parameters were applied to objects detection. The results showed the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Abstract: According to the development and need of the underwater magnetic field measurement, this paper offers a development method and realizing a process of a full information magnetic field measurement system based on high sensitive magnetoresistive magnetometers of HMC1001&HMC1002. The system includes the magnetic and degree sensors system , data storage module ,the control and data acquisition system. The system’s main features include its high resolution, full information, mass storage , low power and synchronously multichannel A/D. The noise of the system is measured in a magnetic shield canister and the result is 5nT. Performances of the system have been tested in practical and results prove the system meets the need of the actual underwater magnetic field measurement in application.

Abstract: A PID controller based on a typical feedback model is introduced because of instability of a kind of integrator and time delay process on open-loop condition. All-pole-type approximating method is adopted to deal with delay part of the controlled object approximately,and confirmed parameters of PID controller is obtained by importing a strategy of confirming parameters of PID controller based on a kind of typical feedback model from IMC principle.The designed control method shows better set point tracking performance based on initialed parameters point and better interference suppression performance of the controlled object.The structure of the controller is simple, and parameters are easy to adjust, the improved controller is easy to apply to practical projects.The simulation results show its effectiveness

Abstract: Underwater gliders are a class of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) that offer many advantages over traditional AUVs. Previous research has mainly focused on underwater gliders with fixed wings. This paper studied a novel underwater glider whose wings can pitch independently about its installed shaft, called Movable-Winged Underwater Glider (MWUG). A 6-DOF model of dynamics for MWUG was developed based on Newton’s law and Euler’s equation, gravity, buoyancy, added mass forces and hydrodynamic forces considered. Longitudinal motion simulations were conducted to clarify the motion characteristics of MWUG. Results of the simulations indicated that compared to fix-winged gliders, MWUGs show a smaller glide angle and attack angle, higher glide speed and efficiency
