Abstract: The well-known k-means algorithm that has been successfully applied to many practical clustering problems, suffers from several drawbacks due to its choice of initializations. In order to overcome k-means shortcomings, hybrid algorithms involving evolutionary algorithms are a good option for boosting the clustering performance. In this study, a hybrid two-phase algorithm for data clustering is proposed. In the first phase we utilize the new genetically improved PSO algorithm (GAI-PSO) which combines the standard velocity and position update rules of PSOs with the ideas of selection, mutation and crossover from GAs. The GAI-PSO algorithm searches the solution space to find an optimum initial seed for the next phase. The second phase is a local refining stage utilizing the k-means algorithm which can efficiently converge to the optimum solution.

Abstract: The rational allocation of tolerances is the key to reduce production costs and guarantee the performance. In this paper, in the premise of ensuring the performance, manufacturing cost minimization of assembly parts is set as objective function, and an adaptive genetic algorithm is proposed to optimize the design of tolerance allocation. The adaptive mechanism is introduced mainly for crossover operator and mutation operator to overcome the traditional adaptive genetic algorithm’s easy "premature" shortcomings according to individual fitness of population. And a penalty function is used to handle constraints of assembly dimension chain. Finally, using the algorithm to optimize assembly chain tolerances of a gear reducer shaft, the effectiveness of the adaptive genetic algorithm to optimize tolerance allocation has been verified.

Abstract: A kind of hydraulic exciter based on rotary valve control was studied in this paper, the composition of the exciter and its working principle were introduced, and the mathematical model of the system was established. The characters of the system were simulated using MATLAB. From the results of the simulation, we get the relationship of the amplitude of Vibration oil cylinder between the system’s pressure and the exciting frequency. The results can provide theoretical bases to design the hydraulic exciter.

Abstract: Aimed at SUV-type vehicle, simulation and analysis of pressure resistance experiments on the body of automobile has been presented in the paper, according to the vehicle safety regulations and standards of FMVSS216. A limited SUV vehicle model is created; simulation is obtained with the help of software LS-DYNA, based on the principle of finite element analysis method. Assessment of pressure resistance and safety of the automobile has been presented, from the aspect of the deformation of body, the energy absorption of the vehicle and components, and the pressure on the body, etc. By rational improving of the original design of body structure, the reasonable distribution of pressure absorbability of the body of the SUV-type automobile is achieved. The effect of the overall energy absorption of the body is fully exerted, and then the safety of the driver and the passenger in a rollover accident is improved. Research methods and conclusions of this paper provide useful ways and references to the research of the safety of vehicle rollover and design of rationality of body energy absorption

Abstract: With the rapid development of the power system, the real-time monitoring of the transmission line state becomes more and more important. Due to the feature of wireless sensor network, a new scheme of monitoring system for transmission line state is proposed. The modular design method is used to choose appropriate modules for setting up the monitoring system, which realizes the real-time temperature, humidity, light, atmospheric pressure on the transmission line. The reliability and practicability is proved by the experiments.

Abstract: To ensure the dual-clutch automatic transmission shift quality, signals processing is required to be fast and stable. This paper designed a signal real-time monitoring and acquisition system for wet dual-clutch automatic transmission with Stateflow and LabVIEW8.6 development platform based on wet dual-clutch automatic transmission electronic control system. Experimental results show that the system is flexible control and responses fast.

Abstract: The widely use of the heating system results in the sharp increase of the heating energy consumption. The optimization of the regulation methods for the heating system can efficiently save energy and improve the indoor temperature of the heat users. The traditional regulation methods include quality regulation, quantity regulation, intermittent regulation etc. The actual operation mode was compared with the actual operation mode, which proved that the traditional regulation methods were all static theoretical regulation methods. The regenerative property of the buildings was simulated using the fluent software. A new regulation method which is called quantitative regulation method is proposed in this paper.
