Abstract: Analyzed the importance of selecting reasonably ground motion input in seismic fragility analysis of the bridge. Based on the common methods of synthesis artificial seismic wave which used trigonometric series and according to the characters of Fourier series, extracted phase spectrum from practical seismic waves ,through modulating the Fourier amplitude spectrum, obtained the artificial seismic wave which fitted compatible with the design response spectrum. Similar to nature small earthquake records, it has the character of non-stationary on time-domain and frequency-domain. Synthesize a series of artificial seismic waves in this method, can improve the accuracy and pertinence of the bridge seismic fragility.

Abstract: Genetic algorithm is a soft computing method that works on set of solutions. These solutions are called chromosome and the best one is the absolute solution of the problem. The main problem of this algorithm is that after passing through some generations, it may be produced some chromosomes that had been produced in some generations ago that causes reducing the convergence speed. From another respective, most of the genetic algorithms are implemented in software and less works have been done on hardware implementation. Our work implements genetic algorithm in hardware that doesn’t produce chromosome that have been produced in previous generations. In this work, most of genetic operators are implemented without producing iterative chromosomes and genetic diversity is preserved. Genetic diversity causes that not only don’t this algorithm converge to local optimum but also reaching to global optimum. Without any doubts, proposed approach is so faster than software implementations. Evaluation results also show the proposed approach is faster than hardware ones.

Abstract: In this paper, we present and analyze a modified Newton-type method with oder of convergence six for solving nonlinear equations. The method is free from second derivatives. It requires three evaluations of the functions and two evaluations of derivatives in each step. Therefore the efficiency index of the presented method is 1.431 which is better than that of classical Newton’s method 1.414. Some numerical results illustrate that the proposed method is more efficient and performs better than classical Newton's method

Abstract: The underwater hydraulic discharge chamber is basic tools and method of research for many ocean issues. In this paper analyzed physical process and mechanical state of hydraulic discharge chamber, into account plasma, streamer and cavitation. The results of simulation and calculation compared with empirical data. On based the results analyzed the factors of effect of the underwater state and put forward improvement conditions of structural design for discharge chamber.

Abstract: The biggest advantage passive acoustic positioning system based on single array is that it has high performance on orientation. However, its positioning error is usually larger. Locating based on multi-array not only gives more information to enhance the locating accurate, but also can eliminate the blind area generated by single array. So its locating performance is better than single-base array. In this paper, taking the system of double arrays for instance, built a passive acoustic positioning system, gave the plan of the system, and designed the tests to compare the accuracy between the single array and double arrays. According to the tests, it further verified that locating system based on double arrays has higher accuracy than the system of single array. And it also has high value engineering.

Abstract: In order to improve the adaptability of the lane detection algorithm under complex conditions such as damaged lane lines, covered shadow, insufficient light, the rainy day etc. Lane detection algorithm based on Zoning Hough Transform is proposed in this paper. The road images are processed by the improved ±45° Sobel operators and the two-dimension Otsu algorithm. To eliminate the interference of ambient noise, highlight the dominant position of the lane, the Zoning Hough Transform is used, which can obtain the parameters and identify the lane accurately. The experiment results show the lane detection method can extract the lane marking parameters accurately even for which are badly broken, and covered by shadow or rainwater completely, and the algorithm has good robustness.

Abstract: Digital filter is one of the most important parts of digital signal processing. This paper proposes the method of using window function to design FIR filter based on MATLAB, according to the design basic principle of FIR digital filter. Filtering processing for measured signal showed that filtering effect of the filter achieved the expected results.

Abstract: Gear exciting is of vital importance in modern power transmission systems. But when the requirements of angular gear transmission are needed, the shortcomings of the current mechanical and magnetic gear transmission are even more obvious. The traditional mechanical gear boxes have the construction of direct mechanical contact, whose disadvantages are low efficiency, noisy, apt to lubricate, easy to produce vibrations to be damaged and so on. And the existing magnetic gear is coaxial which can’t meet the need of angular transmission. In this paper, the construction of a kind of spatial angular magnetic gear, which has no direct mechanical contact between the driven axis and load axis, is proposed. Besides, the principle of the gear ratio is introduced and a concrete magnetic gear is analyzed. The results show that the range of the angle of this magnetic gear can be very large.
