Abstract: With the design concept of “people-oriented” put forward, the residential comfort requirements which are put forward by people are high increasingly, and building energy consumption increases correspondingly. According to statistics, at present our country building energy consumption accounts for about 30%of total national energy consumption, and which is upward trend. On the other hand, with the building energy consumption increase and large air-conditioning installation, city effect is increasingly serious, and which deteriorated environment. The present situation and development trend of building energy saving method and energy saving materials are discussed in this article.

Abstract: There are serious energy-saving problems in cold region of rural residential buildings. On one hand, it needs the higher levels energy because of the particular climatic conditions, on the other hand, people in cold regions lack of energy-saving consciousness and technology. Through analyzing the rural residential building status and existing energy-saving problems in cold region of China, the author discussed and summarized the energy-saving design methods of rural residential building in cold region from three aspects, including the energy-saving of residential building size design, the energy-saving of building envelope structure design, and use of renewable energy. The research provides a reference for promoting socialism new rural reconstruction in China.

Abstract: The aim of the study is to evaluate and select suitable phase change materials (PCMs) for northern heating-cooling supplied (heating in winter and cooling in summer) solar buildings in China. Fuzzy mathematic comprehensive analysis method was used in the process. And there are many impact factors involved in the process also. In the paper we only considered phase-transition temperature, phase-transition latent heat, coefficient of thermal conductivity, density, phase-transition temperature region, material price and safety. And some thermal performances of materials were attained by experimental measurement in the study. Finally we got the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation results of 7 selected low-temperature materials including dodecanol, heptadecane, octadecane, decanoic acid, dual composite PCM decanoic acid- palmitic acid (DA-PA), decanoic acid-lauric acid (DA-LA), and polyethylene glycol 600 (PEG600). The conclusion is that the value of comprehensive performance index of dodecanol is the biggest, 0.832, in seven PCMs. Therefore, the dodecanol is the most suitable PCM for northern heating-cooling supplied solar buildings in China.

Abstract: This paper studies the effect of the properties (such as slump, cohesiveness, strength, cracking-resistance, etc.) of concrete mixed fiber and mineral admixtures (fly ash, slag) by using the orthogonal experimental method. Through the experiment, we can get and analyze the characteristics of various factors. According to the local material characteristics, obtain a best cyanide dosage of the mineral admixtures and fiber; And through comparison in the optimum content of concrete and the reference concrete (without fiber), study the resistance performance of fiber.

Abstract: There are many types of external decorative materials of buildings, which have different properties in absorbing, reflecting and re-radiating the solar radiation because of their different color, texture and degree of roughness. Different external decorative materials for the buildings with same direction, the amount of solar radiation will be different. The correction of heat- transferring coefficient of envelope is related not only to the direction, but also to the selected external decorative materials of buildings. In this paper, the method is to establish thermal gain or loss model of architectural envelope, to analysis the influence of solar radiation of different external decorative materials on heat consumption of buildings. Aim to provide the reference for the selection of external decorative materials in architectural design, and to improve indoor thermal comfort and reduce architectural energy consumption.

Abstract: The building industry is known to have consumed a large portion of resources. Though the Chinese government has tried various initiatives to make it green, local developers are lagging behind. The major barrier is the perceived huge front-up cost. In this article, the authors explored the green transformation of Vanke, the largest real estate company in China, to see how to make the green strategy succeed. The authors argued that cost of green strategy is not so huge; the associated benefits with green can covered the increase cost if proper practices are adopted.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyze the potentials of energy consumption and the energy-related carbon reduction of Shanghai non-residential buildings, to discuss the contributions of positive policies. This study uses system dynamic tool to examine the behaviour of the complex social-economic-energy system over time. This study defines three types of scenarios, BAU (business-as-usual), reference and ambitious scenarios in which policies on sustainability and technology progress are different. In order to highlight the importance of policies, this study adds several sub-scenarios and compares the contributions of them. The results show that Shanghai can reduce by at most 22% of building energy use and 30.9% of the energy-related carbon emissions by 2020 on the 2005 baseline. The strong economic incentives, including both encouraging and punishment measures are quite helpful for Shanghai building energy efficiency and CO2 reduction.

Abstract: There was a strange phenomenon in residential while city construction was on everywhere and market of real estate was prosperous in China. The absolute demolishing area and the ratio of demolishing area to completed area was consistent increasing. Poor performance of residential, unreasonable planning and design, quality problems and interest-driven are the main reasons through analysis. The serious waste of resource and pollution of environment have been resulted from the building and demolishing in a large-scale. At the same time, the demolition will destroy history and characteristics of the city, and will raise the real estate prices. The disadvantage was serious to country and social. The strange phenomenon should be arousing the whole society.

Abstract: The traditional rammed earth building refers theses structures which uses tools such as pestle or hammer etc to fill undisturbed soil materials after a simple processing by the method of compacting layer by layer. construction technology of the modern rammed earth mainly makes improvements in terms of rammed earth materials、ramming tools and construction technology which can effectively improve the durability and safety performance of rammed earth building. This article is focusing on how to select scientifically which one is the best rammed earth material and introducing improvement situation about construction technology of rammed earth wall, which combined with researching and practicing of pilot project, under the guidance of the International centre for research and application of earth construction.

Abstract: The technique of energy saving in airport winter construction is always the key and difficult point in the field of airport construction. Considering the feature of airport winter construction, this paper develops the material temperature predicting and energy-saving control technique and its specialist-aided system in order to reduce energy consumption on airport jobsite. This technique can predict the changing temperature trend after concrete material pouring and the changing maturity level of concrete, according to the key parameter information that contractors provide. Giving the results the preceding data, it can provide the optimal curing method, thermal insulation and construction technology. And contractors can easily meet the requirement of high strength of structural material while consume energy and resource at a minimum level. This technique helps contractors find optimal solutions to save energy and resources in airport winter construction and avoid the unnecessary energy consumption.
