Abstract: The primary influencing factors of urban land suitability were analyzed, and evaluation index systems were proposed for urban land suitability. Based on AHP, the weight of every evaluation index was determined, and the evaluation model for urban land suitability was also established by fuzzy synthesis evaluation. Taking the urban land condition of plain country as an application case, and its urban land suitability was assessed based on the evaluation model. The research result shows that the degree of urban land suitability can be indicated with AHP and fuzzy synthesis evaluation, so it is a new effective method for the evaluation of urban land suitability.

Abstract: This article investigates a strategy for the distribution of land to develop urban agriculture, and speculate how to apply Geographic Information System (GIS) and Multi-criteria Evaluation (MCE) for determining the location and level of conflict between agriculture and other forms of human intervention. The procedure is applied on a case study in the city of the Netherlands: Delft. And the findings expect to produce a model which shows a set of suitability maps, using which planners may quickly compare scenarios and make a decision.

Abstract: For a community, to be ecological is the way forward to sustainability, and the first step is to avoid unnecessary trips for daily activities. Realizing the required service function of a community can provide the directions and contents to the community and the one in charged for improving the convenience of life, while allowing residents to reach those facilities by walking or biking, thus achieving the ecological goal of energy conservation. This study adopts the Delphi technique to screen the most important and basic service items of the service function for the urban and rural eco-communities, which are supposed to be accessible and easily reached. Furthermore, the study utilizes the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to get different weights of these service items for two kinds of communities. Results show that the facilities of daily life are the most basic and important category of the service function for both kinds of communities; elementary school and senior day care service is the most significant item that urban and rural eco-community must have, respectively.

Abstract: New countryside construction is among the highlights in China. The new countryside construction aims to accelerate the development and modernization of the agricultural and rural economy. Capacity development for new countryside construction in China is based on the goal of ensuring a fundamental shift towards the sustainable production and provision of sufficient, safe, and nutritious food that simultaneously builds and reinforces ecosystem resilience, leading to equitable and economically viable livelihoods. Enhancing capacity development in the new countryside construction must play a role in the transformational change of the current development framework, ensuring that agriculture and other relevant sectors are systematically integrated. This integration will employ inter-sectoral, inter-institutional, multi-stakeholder and multi-level participatory processes that are supported through capacity development within the enabling national, organizational and individual dimensions.

Abstract: Land use structure optimization is the core of land use planning, which has significant influence to the carbon cycle in terrestrial ecosystems. In this paper, we put Lanzhou as case study, to realize the land ecosystem carbon balance is the breakthrough point, using the method of fuzzy linear programming, constructing model from carbon source and carbon sink, trying to put forward a new approach to optimize the land use structure. Contrast with the former planning with the optimization scheme based on carbon balance, carbon stock volume and carbon emissions of the year 2005 and 2020 are evaluated .We got a low carbon optimization scheme of land use planning finally. The results of the study show that the objective to make carbon storage maximization and to make carbon emissions minimization is consistent and the two optimizing schemes have dramatically beneficial effect on increase carbon sink and reduce carbon source, which can slow down carbon emissions in terrestrial ecosystems and realize the rational utilization of land resources and the sustainable development.

Abstract: Along with the rapid development of economy, balance urban and rural development has become the major task China is facing now. Green rural tourism can speed up economic development, promote culture intercourse between urban and rural, accelerate harmonious society, and is the effective way to build new socialist countryside. Develop green rural tourism in undeveloped western region under the perspective of urban-rural integration, must adhere to the principle of sustainable development, principle of adaptation to local conditions, principle of characteristic development, and choose the development model, which is suitable for local culture and character, in order to realize urban-rural integration.

Abstract: Currently, continuous China’s urbanization will emit considerable carbon dioxide emissions, so that China is facing mounting pressure from not only the international community but also domestic itself. This paper applies SVAR model to evaluate the dynamic fluctuation relationship between China’s urbanization and the disparity of urban-rural resident living direct carbon dioxide emissions. The result indicates that the urbanization has an obvious positive effect on the difference of resident living direct carbon dioxide emissions from urban and rural in the short term and it has negative impact in the long term. Moreover, the impact of urban-rural resident living direct carbon dioxide emissions disparity on the urbanization has a negative effect in the short term, gradually turns into a positive, and finally stabilizes zero level. Based on the above conclusions, the government should provide corresponding policy implications for China's carbon emission reduction.

Abstract: Establish the land evaluation model of Xiamen by means of BP neural network theory, taking 2007-2009 land evaluation cases of Xiamen as examples. Through statistical analysis, we find that the neural network which has 9 net work hidden layer nodes and 19% of maximal error index is more suitable for Xiamen land price assessment than others. Empirical analysis shows that the model has a good generalization ability, which can be used for land evaluation practices. The results indicates that the properties of autonomous learning of BP network can reduce the subjective factors of appraiser in land evaluation , also, the network has the advantage of simple and quick calculation.

Abstract: In the process of urbanization, We always neglect the issue of environmental protection. In recognition of this problem, we begin to think about the way to solve it. We find that wetlands have important ecological and environmental functions, which play an important role in maintaining regional ecological balance and the conservation of biological diversity. Especially, urban wetlands are playing an irreplaceable role in eco-city construction. The article takes Ruian city as an example to discuss the utility of natural wetland and constructed wetland in eco-city construction. We conclude that to construct an eco-city, Ruian should focus on pollution control, at the same time, we can make use of natural wetland and constructed wetland to make Ruian more beautiful and ecological.

Abstract: Based on the shear displacement constitutive relationship of the interface between anchorage body and surrounding soil, the load transfer function method is applied to build a elastic-plastic space model. Accordingly the relationship between drawing force and displacement of prestressed anchor is analysed to acquie theoretical formula of P-S curve. The pullout test is carried out on six prestressed anchor in soil to get P-S curves. The experimental results agree quite well on the theoretical results.
