Abstract: 3-hydroxyflavone (3-HF) is a kind of organic molecule with excited state proton transfer (EFPT) effect, and is a good performance nonlinear optical material. In this paper, the nonlinear refractive index and two-proton absorption coefficient of 3-HF were measured by using z-scan technique with ps pulsed laser at 355nm and 532nm respectively. In the experiment, we observed that the two-proton absorption coefficient was decreased as the incident intensity was increased.

Abstract: Sixteen bacterial strains were used to analyze the specificity and sensitivity of the commonly used oligonucleotide probe for FISH. The results showed that GAM42a probe was not only hybridized with γ-subclass proteobacteria strains, but also hybridized with other subclass proteobacteria strains. The specificity of GAM42a probe therefore would be improved. On the other hand, the average value of detection rates of ALF1b, HGCGP and LGCGP354B probe was less than 50%. After 10min lysozyme treatment, only the detection rate of LGCGP354B probe was improved.

Abstract: This paper provides the method of calculating the film pore area and comparing the density of the looser and compact layer by AC impedance, then to compare the corrosion resistance of the film by comparing the pore area and the dielectric constant. The resistance of the film decreases fellow the soaking time extending, the capacitance of the loose and compact layer increases with the soaking time extending. The capacitance of the compact layer is smaller than that of the loose layer.

Abstract: The article studies the way of combining double foot data into one gait cycle from data collected from only one force plate, and the reliability with comparing the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) between combined and original trails is validated. The joint moment values, knee muscles value were also computed by OpenSim based on the dynamic model. Correlation coefficients and normalized RMSE were used as the compared factors between two trails. Correlation coefficients are all above 0.9 for joint moments, and all above 0.95 for knee muscles except for biceps femoris - long head. The technology would get higher reliability and improving the accuracy of simulation result by increasing the numbers of collection trails and selecting pairs trails which got higher correlation coefficients.

Abstract: Modification of distillers' grains by hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid and nitric acid, respectively, was carried out in order to enhance their adsorption capacities of heavy metal ions. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopic analysis reveals modified distillers' grains have rich hydroxyl and amides. SEM images of distillers' grains' surface show that modified distillers' grains particles have larger surface area and loose structure feature than the raw distillers' grains (RDG). Modified distillers' grains by nitric acid exhibited higher adsorption capacities for Pb(II) and Cr(III) than RDG. The adsorption capacities of nitric acid treated distillers' grains and RDG for Pb(II) were 20.35 and 15.69 mg g−1, respectively. A simple modification of distillers' grains with nitric acid has improved adsorption ability of distillers' grains particles for heavy metal ions.

Abstract: Calcium-based minerals cyclic calcination/carbonation reaction is an effective approach to CO2 capture for coal-fired power plants. It was proposed that dolomite modified with acetic acid solution, i.e. calcium magnesium acetate (CMA), acted as a new CO2 sorbent for calcination/carbonation cycles. The carbonation conversions for CMA and dolomite with the number of cycles were experimentally investigated. The cyclic conversion for CMA is much greater than that for dolomite for the carbonation at 650-700 °C. The carbonation conversion for CMA achieves as high as 0.6 after 20 cycles. CMA maintains the great conversion for calcination at 1100 °C. CMA had a better anti-sintering than dolomite. The pore volume and pore area distributions for calcined CMA are superior to those for calcined dolomite.

Abstract: By using artificial water culture, transportation and accumulation of Sedum aizoon L. under heavy metals (copper, lead, zinc) stress were studied .The result showed that aizoon had a certain ability of accumulating heavy metals. When Cu2+ concentration was more than 40umol/L, the enrichment of copper ability had reached to the level of hyperaccumulation plants did. Besides, when Pb2+ concentration was more than 60umol/L, the aboveground part saturated; while when Pb2+ concentration was about 730 mg/kg, the underground part Pb2+ enrichment was increasing to the extent of Pb2+ concentration was 9600-16000 mg/kg. It will provide a new kind of material for phytoremediation applied in polluted environment.

Abstract: Alumina ceramics with inter-connected pores were fabricated by freeze casting method. The open porosity and fracture strength were controlled by the concentration of Al2O3 slurry and sintering temperature. Sintered at 1600°C, the open porosity and fracture strength of Al2O3 ceramics fabricated by the slurry with concentration of 70wt% are 46.4% and 23.8 MPa, respectively.

Abstract: In this paper the progress on research of visible light response TiO2 photocatalyst was summarized. From the perspectives of positive ion doping, nonmetal elements doping, precious metals deposit, dye photosensitization and new type composite photocatalyst, the paper investigated the preparation, photocatalysis mechanism, effects and shortcomings of the concerned material. The research situation, progress and prospects of visible light response TiO2 photocatalyst were described systematically.
