Application of the KH560 on Improving the Interface Fastness of Composites of Starch and Cotton Fiber

Article Preview

Abstract:

The interface of cotton and starch is pre-treated in different concentrations of 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (KH560) and Ditin butyl dilaurate (DBD) solutions. The interface fastness has a good linear relation with KH560 concentration changes. And DBD and pre-heating treatment bring on the grafting reaction easier.
