Abstract: Polycarboxylate superplasticizers(PCs) were important admixtures in modern concrete preparation, and working mechanism research was paid close attention since its invention. The international research progress of adsorption characteristics of Polycarboxylate superplasticizers and effect on cement paste dispersion, hydration was introduced, appropriate analysis and discussion were made focusing on existing problems in relational researches in purpose of providing ideas for further research of cement- PCs interactions.

Abstract: Most underground permanent roadways of coal mines need maintenance because of long service. Through selecting the proper ratio of fly ash, cement, water, and right amount of sodium silicate additives, the author made high content of fly ash cement wet shotcrete materials, and tested their main physical properties, mechanical properties and technical performance, a type of environment-friendly underground wet shotcrete is developed.

Abstract: In order to resolve the pollution of coloured wastewater, starch microsphere was used to absorb methylene blue from aqueous solutions in this paper. Starch microsphere is artificial starch derivative, can be synthesized by cross-linking reaction from crude starch and modified starch. The cross-linked starch microsphere was prepared from soluble starch and N, N'-methylenebisacrylamide, and starch microsphere has characteres of irregular appearance, uniform size, suitable swelling, three-dimensional network structure, suitable shell pore diameter and specific surface area, good mechanical intensity. The microporous structure of starch microsphere was determined using Scanning Electronic Microscopy (SEM). The adsorption capacity of starch microsphere to methylene blue was studied. It could be shown that the adsorption capacity increases with the increase of concentration of methylene blue. Also, the lower the temperature was, the bigger the adsorption capacity of SM was in the same concentration. So, starch microsphere could effectively absorb methylene blue from aqueous solutions and thus the influencing factors of the adsorption were discussed in detail.

Abstract: The air-conditioning viscose fiber was blended with bamboo viscose fiber and polyester fiber in different blended ratios, and the evenness, hairiness, strength and elongation, and elasticity of blended yarns were tested. The influence of blended ratios was analyzed. The results show that: With the increase in air-conditioning fiber content, the CV value of evenness indicates an increasing trend and the yarn evenness goes bad, breaking strength, elongation at break, fracture work of blended yarns decreases linearly, and elastic recovery rate of blended yarns increases first, then decreases basically and the maximum appears at 40%. The difference of hairiness curves is small in different blended ratios. Elastic recovery rate of blended yarns decreases with the increase of specified elongation.

Abstract: In this paper, the triplet properties of a series of 1, 8, 15, 22-tetra-n-pentyloxy metallophthalocyanines [α-MPc(OC5H11)4), M=Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn] and metal free phthalocyanine [H2Pc((OC5H11)4)] were investigated using flash photolysis technique in solutions at the concentration of 10-5mol/L. The triplet absorption curves and triplet lifetimes were acquired. ZnPc(OC5H11)4 exhibits a strong triplet absorption and has long triplet lifetime due to the d-electron and charge transfer effect.

Abstract: The biodegradable films of the blend of pregelatinized starch and poly(butylene succinate) were prepared by using mixture of water and glycerin as plasticizing agent. The mechanical properties, thermal performance of the films and molecular weight of PBS were investigated. Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) results indicate that the molecular weight of PBS has no obvious change in spite of the presence of water. Starch can be well plasticized and uniformly dispersed in PBS matrix without obvious particles and agglomeration observed. When starch content was 10 wt% of total resin, the mechanical properties of the blend film is similar to that of pure PBS. With the further increase in the starch content, the mechanical properties were reduced; the crystallization temperature of the blend increased and the crystallization time is shortened. The thermogravimetric analysis found that pregelatinized starch and PBS decomposed in their respective temperature, the thermal stability of materials decreased.

Abstract: Acid-activated vermiculite (AAV) was prepared by treating raw vermiculite (RV) at 80°C with HCl solution. The surface properties and Pb(II) adsorption characteristics of RV and AAV were studied. The specific surface area (SSA), cation exchange capacity (CEC), pH at zero point of charge (pHZPC), and surface charge at pH 5.8 of AAV were 287.62 m2/g, 24.85 cmol/kg, pH 3.06, and -0.361 mmol/g, respectively. Compared to RV, the SSA, CEC and surface charge of AAV increased, but the value of pHZPC decreased. At pH 5.8, the maximum adsorption capacities (qmax) for Pb(II) of RV and AAV were 10.72 and 18.53 mg/g, respectively. The adsorption data for Pb(II) by RV and AAV could be well fitted using Langmuir isotherm (R2 =0.990 and 0.995, respectively)

Abstract: Oleic acid capped copper nanoparticles were prepared by the solventless thermolysis of single-source precursor, cupric oleate. OA-capped Cu nanoparticles were characterized by means of FT-IR, TEM, XRD and TGA. Results show that OA-capped Cu nanoparticles with an average diameter of about 40 nm, which are able to prevent water adsorption, oxidation and are capable of being dispersed stably in organic solvents or mineral oil. This approach offers a great deal of facilitating their production without the need of protection by inert gases or sealed containers. In this process, only the preparation condition temperature has an obvious effect on the size and component of the product. OA-capped Cu nanoparticles as an additive in PAO10 perform good anti-wear and friction-reduction properties. As the additive concentration reach to 0.5 wt. %, the wear scar diameter can be reduced by 18 % and the friction coefficient can be reduced by 13 % as compared to pure PAO10.

Abstract: The solar reflective green coating is prepared in the paper, of which the tailored infrared property reaches near upon 80%, and the temperature reduction bring by the reflectivity of the coat is improved too. The experiments on the temperature reduction and aging performance of the coat are also performed, the results suggests the green solar reflective coating can reduce more than 10°C compared with the same type coatings, it also has a good aging resistance capability.

Abstract: After detailed experimental research on characteristics of long-wave infrared material Pb1-xGexTe we find the effect on optical constants(n,K) at different substrate temperatures and ambient temperatures using Pb1-XGeXTe,which is that density of layer membrane becomes higher and affects on its transmission along with substrate temperature increasing as well as film refractive index and absorptivity. Pb1-XGeXTe film refractive index decreases with the wavelength increasing and its decreasing magnitude changes with ambient temperature. The experimental results show that the experimental research on characteristics of long-wave infrared material Pb1-XGeXTe makes theory and practice unified. The preparation process and coating process of Pb1-XGeXTe constantly improving promot the performance of airspace optical remote sensing instruments.
