Abstract: The synthesis of g-C3N4/Bi2WO6 composite materials with varying the g-C3N4 content was reported in this investigation. The composite samples were characterized by various techniques. The photocatalytic activity of the g-C3N4/Bi2WO6 products has been investigated by the degradation of methyl orange dye under visible light irradiation. The UV-vis absorption spectra show that the absorption edge of the composite sample shifts to longer wavelengths with increasing the doping amount of g-C3N4. It is revealed that the g-C3N4/Bi2WO6 composite photocatalysts exhibit remarkably enhanced photocatalytic performance for the degradation of methyl orange. The high visible light photocatalytic activity of g-C3N4/Bi2WO6can be attributed to the efficient transfer and separation of charge carriers in the interface between g-C3N4 and Bi2WO6particles.

Abstract: A novel copolymer PADA which has two functions of flocculation and surface activity was synthesized in aqueous solution. The copolymer was applied to filtration aiding on wet-process phosphoric acid (WPA). The results show that PADA can increase the filtration rate of the phosphoric acid slurry and decrease the moisture of the filter cake. The mechanism of filtration aiding was studied. PADA neutralizes the surface potential of the phosphogypsum and makes the microcrystal particles flocculate to conglobation, which indicate that electrostatic neutralization and flocculation might be the action modes in the process of filtration aiding. The shortest flocculation time and largest average diameter of floccules can be obtained with the addition of 10 ppm PADA. The average pore size and porosity of the filter cake are enlarged by 0.22 μm and 15.38% respectively with the addition of PADA. The surface contact angle of the phosphogypsum is increased by 3.4° with PADA presence.

Abstract: The copolymer had been synthesized by using N-tert-octylacrylamide/Acrylic acid/Methyl methacrylate/Butylaminoethyl Methacrylate/Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate as monomers.By adjusting monomers ratio,N-tert-octylacrylamide or methyl methacrylate, futher study the influence on the stiffness of the copolymer and the relationship beween monomers ratio and the stiffness.

Abstract: A novel linear benzoxazine-containing polytriazole was successfully synthesized via metal-free click reaction. Benefited from the advantages of click reaction, the synthesis procedure was easily and efficiently. The linear polymer could be transformed into crosslinked structure after ring-opening polymerization of oxazine induced by the increasing temperature. The FT-IR characterization verified the structure transformation between linear and crosslinked polymer. Moreover, the thermal properties and thermal degradation behaviors of linear polymer and the corresponding crosslinked polymer were studied by DSC and TGA. The novel polytriazole was proved to be a kind of thermal stable polymers with high thermal decomposition temperature (Td5 over 300°C).

Abstract: On the ground of its development and thermoregulation theory, thermoregulation property of Outlast fiber was subjected to test and analysis by means of thermal analysis. Specifically over the applied sample of Outlast acrylic fiber, it was concluded by test that the ranges of fusion heat absorption and crystallization heat release were 22.11°C~25.84°C and 27.45°C~20.07°C, peak temperatures of heat absorption and release were 25.84°C and 20.07°C, and enthalpy data of fusion & crystallization were 7.887J/g and 9.667J/g respectively. Outlast fiber, therefore, has been certified its obvious capability of temperature regulation, as a foundation for further study in the future.

Abstract: Actinozoan-like carbon materials with high yields have been successfully synthesized via a solvothermal route in a stainless steel autoclave. In this process, polyethylene glycol, magnesium acetate and n-butanol were used as starting materials. The resulting products were characterized with X-ray powder diffractometer (XRD), energy-dispersive X-ray spectra (EDX), Raman spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The actinozoan-like carbon materials have diameters ranging from 100 nm to 120 nm, and lengths ranging from several microns to dozens of microns. The optimal reaction conditions to obtain actinozoan-like carbon materials are 500 °C and 12h.

Abstract: An environment-friendly soy protein isolate (SPI)-based adhesive for wood was prepared using denatured alcohol-modified SPI, calcium hydroxide and sodium silicate. On the basis of the single factor test results, an orthogonal test of 4 elements and 3 levels was carried out to optimize formula ingredients. The modified SPI adhesive contained more calcium hydroxide than unmodified SPI adhesive and exhibited good performance. The shear strength of the specimen bonded with the modified adhesive was 82.3 MPa; after three cycles of water-soaking and air-drying, the decrease in shear strength was as low as 7.9%.

Abstract: A new polytriazoleimide (PTAI) was prepared from 1,2,3-triazole-containing diamine and 4,4’-(hexafluoroisopropylidene) diphthalic anhydride by polycondensation. The thermal stability was investigated. The PTAI was pyrolyzed at 400 °C and 750 °Cseparately and the pyrolysis was traced by the Py/GC/MS combined technique. Nitrogen and related compounds which result from the cleavage of C-N and N-N bonds in the polymer are found in the pyrolysis products at 400 °C. The further decomposition of PTAI would take place at imide rings and the chain units between imide rings at 750 °C. A degradation mechanism of the PTAI is proposed.

Abstract: Na-montmorillonite was modified by CTAMB through the intercalation. The effects of amount, temperature, time on microstructure were characterized by X-ray diffraction; Fourier transforms infrared spectrometer, and N2 adsorption isotherms. At same time, the adsorption performance on the nitrobenzene was compared by UV-visible absorption spectra. The results show that: CTAMB can effectively increase the crystal spacing of sodium montmorillonite. The reaction time and reaction temperature has little effect on the reaction process. The modified montmorillonite by CTAMB can adsorption nitrobenzene, and its adsorption properties relate with the crystal spacing. At the same time pore volume of modified montmorillonite can be increased, it is beneficial to the adsorption of nitrobenzene. Compare with OTAC, the pore radius of montmorillonite modified by CTAMB is smaller.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of that traditional bone glue adhesives were solid in room, a new technology of bone glue modifying was introduced. Epichlorohydrin was used as grafting agent, and then the modified bone glue was crosslinked with each other to obtain the novel bone glue adhesive. The effect factors such as the ratio of water and bone glue, the amount of sodium hydroxide, the time of reaction were studied to develop the modifying technics which was different to the traditional way.
