Research of Optical Fiber Degree of Polarization (DOP) Measurement

Article Preview

Abstract:

Degree of Polarization (DOP) is a very important parameter for light polarization effect. The DOP meter is widely used in optical fiber communication and gyroscope. In this paper, several measurement methods of DOP are compared and analyzed, and also a calibration method of DOP meter is present as well as the measurement results.
