Abstract: With the growing demand of wireless applications, radio spectrum has become a scare resource. Cognitive Radio (CR) technology has been considered as an important solution to optimize the utilization of natural frequency spectrum. Numerous researches are performed on deploying CR in cellular networks. In this paper, we introduced new challenges on integration of CR technology and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), and some potential solutions are proposed.

Abstract: With the energy consumption, the new route may be reconstructed with energy sufficient nodes. In order to evaluate energy of nodes, an energy consumption model was raised to calculate node energy in wireless sensor networks. The model of nodes was setup in data structure, the energy consumption model was setup in the rule of energy consumption and the wireless radio model of wireless sensor networks was setup in the rule of wireless radio. The simulation algorithm was designed and realized. The result shows that the model can simulate energy consumption for wireless sensor networks which is helpful for route algorithm.

Abstract: Three noise reduction programs based on Color Filter Array (CFA) image from Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor (CMOS) image sensor system are proposed. Imaging performance from different order of interpolation and noise reduction is researched. The relevant models are established and three interpolation methods and four noise reduction methods are selected in the paper. The results show that under different imaging sequence, whether from objective evaluation or from the subjective point of view, Linear Filtering noise reduction is the worst, noise reduction on Least Squares Method is optimal. The conclusions have references to digital camera imaging.

Abstract: Averaging Pitot tube flowmeter often uses a separated structure which is not convenient. The research uses a design of integration to overcome the problems and creates an intelligent system to process data. Some improvement methods such as the non-linear correction of meter factor, temperature and pressure compensation are proposed to improve the accuracy of flow rate. In experiments, by comparisons of the results before and after improvements, it comes to a conclusion that the intelligent integrated averaging Pitot tube flowmeter shows a higher performance.

Abstract: In this paper, a comprehensive performance analysis of OSSDL and VCN are presented to explore their performances. Also comparisons with classic DV-Hop and Centroid algorithms are made under different simulation environments. Two aspects of the performance comparison are addressed: positioning accuracy and computational time. VCN has better estimation accuracy than OSSDL, which is much better than that of DV-Hop. Also VCN costs the least localization time.

Abstract: In the paper, the output signal of sensor in smart grid is analyzed by wavelet, which could detect and diagnose the abrupt fault of sensor. First, the applications of sensor for smart grid are introduced. Then the basic principles of fault detection of sensor using wavelet are proposed. Finally, the simulation results in MATLAB verify the feasibility of the method.

Abstract: A novel fuzzy sliding-mode structure has been proposed for Extend Kalman Filter (EKF) based on sensorless control of an induction motor in this paper. Fuzzy sliding-mode structure includes two nonlinear controllers, one of which is sliding mode type and the other is PI-fuzzy logic based controller. The new structure has two advantages: sliding-mode controller increasing system stability and PI-like fuzzy logic based controller reducing the chattering in permanent state. The scheme has been implemented and experimentally validated.

Abstract: In order to improve the sensitivity of the eddy current sensor, a sensor measuring circuit based on the resonance method is designed in this paper. The working principle of eddy current sensor is introduced, the relationship between output voltage and inductance value is obtained by the analysis of the resonant circuit parameters, and then simulated by MATLAB software. Circuit parameters are optimized, and the various circuit parameters are obtained under the condition of considering the highest value of the linearity and sensitivity.

Abstract: A novel Nano-scale scalable multi-finger RF MOSFET model extraction method is presented in this paper. First, Parasitic resistances induced by measuring probe are analyzed, according to which the extraction method of parasitic probe resistor are proposed. Secondly, it is proved that stress effects on the MOS channel scale with finger number. Moreover, Based on experiment data, it is concluded that several MOS instances, finger numbers, channel width and length highly affect the parasitic source and drain resistance of Multi-finger MOS. An empirical scalable model on them has been suggested. A complete flow of model parameters extraction and optimization on nano-scale multi-finger MOSFET is presented.
