Abstract: The Precision Micro-Assembly Machine was developed to manufacture the ICF targets, which have submillimeter-sized components with micrometer sized features. The machine provides simultaneous manipulation of three objects in a 3-cm3 operating arena and can stitch together multiple millimeter-scales operating arenas over distances spanning tens of centimeters with micrometer-level accuracy. In this report, we will discuss the technologies that are merged to help assist the research community with micro-component fabrication. Furthermore, we also present the design of the online monitoring system, which contains two kinds of non-contact measurement system, microscopic image and laser confocal. The online monitoring system can characterize the positions of the target components during the assembly process. The effect and mathematic model of on-line measuring was analyzed. The results of target assembly experiments show position tolerance of the assembly is not more than 10μm.

Abstract: In order to improve the effectiveness of fault diagnosis for mechatronic system, new integrated testing instrument was developed. The testing instrument was integrated with experience, detected data and complex technical principles. The structure of the integrated testing instrument was introduced. The system is divided into fault diagnosis expert system and signal processing device. Fault diagnosis expert system software is to complete the human-computer interaction, testing process control, test result analysis processing, output display and fault diagnosis. Signal processing instrument includes test signal acquisition, signal conditioning, data acquisition, and data communication. Experiments show that the instrument can find the fault efficiently and improve the maintenance efficiency of a certain type of mechatronic system.

Abstract: In order to realize high-accuracy pressure measurement in harsh environment, a new kind of Double-notches Touch Mode Capacitive Pressure Sensor (DTMCPS) based on SiC material is presented. Through research to material properties of the sensor, the sensor can be applied in high-temperature field. Using Finite Element Method (FEM) to simulate and solve capacitance, the results show that DTMCPS can immensely improve the sensitivity and the linear range of traditional single cavity sensor because of its double notches structure. Consequently, the sensor has outstanding measurement performance in high-temperature environment.

Abstract: In order to solve the transmission precision of ball screw of High-speed & high-precision CNC lathe, design a kind of hydraulic cushion which can maintain transmission stiffness of components. Use the axial strain output of hydraulic cushion to ensure pre-stretching force of ball screw is constant to maintain its constant transmission stiffness. Practice has proved that there are good linear characteristics between the axial strain output of hydraulic cushion and the input of oil pressure.

Abstract: Based on CNC lathe product’s technical and economic properties demand for manufacturing industry of CNC equipment, this thesis studied the mutual relationship of machining accuracy and cost. According to adaptive particle swarm optimization, a optimization model of the two parts was established. The case of a CNC lathe shows that the optimization model has the advantages of rapid searching, high accuracy, effective and provides a new way for the machining accuracy and cost optimization.

Abstract: The navigation and positioning of medical robot was the precondition of taking the medical robot-assisted surgery. The navigation and positioning method of ultrasound-guided robot for liver cancer coagulation therapy was introduced. This paper presented the positioning method of different functions of robot based on the characteristics of active plus passive robot. The homologous point least squares matching method was employed for the robot 3D platform and the space vector calculation method was used for the robot RCM structure arm. The experimental results show that the robot positioning error is 1.32 ± 0.83mm, and the average positioning time is 5.5s, which can meet the requirements on the positioning accuracy, positioning time and operating flexibility of the liver cancer coagulation therapy.

Abstract: A kind of accuracy sensitivity analysis and numerical simulation method about the mechanism kinematic is proposed for the purpose of getting the reliability sensitivity of the planar mechanism. Combining with the reliability sensitivity analysis method and the computer simulation technology, this method is on the basis of the research of the kinematics equations and the mechanism kinematic accuracy model. Taking the kinematic accuracy sensitivity analysis of the planar four-bar mechanism as an example, the results verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the method.

Abstract: Put forward a kind of 2 dof parallel fixture. The moving platform of the fixture has two rotational degrees of freedom relative to the fixed platform. Do the institutional analysis and its degree of freedom calculation. Study the kinematics modeling method, and carry out an analysis on forward and inverse solutions of its positions. The new parallel fixture will have wide appli¬ca¬tion in the field of machining.

Abstract: Helical rotor is a core component of helical-lobe compressor. Analysis was made on the geometrical properties of tooth curves. Using standard spherical milling cutter on 4-axis NC machine, normal migration method was used to rotor surface processing. Based on the generation characteristics of helical rotor surface, object-oriented design method is used to achieve automatic programming system of helical rotor. The calculation of helical rotor end face profile lines and cutter location point are realized, and over cutting analysis is carried out to generate high efficient numerical control processing program.
