Abstract: The paper considers the due-date assignment problem with a non-linear deterioration in which the due dates are determined by the equal slack method. Here, the processing time of a job is defined by a non-linear function of total normal processing time of jobs in front of it in the sequence. The objective is to minimize the total tardiness penalties. According to the needs from the real world, the problem is divided into two cases, i.e., allowing with early jobs and no early jobs respectively. The related lemma, corollary and theorems for the problems are proposed and proved. At the same time, it shows that the problems in this paper can be solved in the polynomial times.

Abstract: The TDOA localization algorithm for wireless sensor networks can help us measure the time differences of an unknown node to more anchor nodes, which establish nonlinear equation of the differential distance between unknown node and anchor node. Newton iteration is the crucial method for nonlinear equation numerical solutions, so using the Newton iterative method can better achieve nonlinear optimization in TDOA location. The simulation results indicate that the algorithm can meet the requirement of localization and possesses the preferable localization precision.

Abstract: This paper investigates single machine scheduling problem with unequal release times and deterioration jobs where the objective function of it is minimal makespan. A mixed integer mathematical programming optimization model is developed for the problem which belongs to the NP-hard problem. The model is tested on examples and compared with a heuristic algorithm introduced by Lee et al.. Moreover, the branch-bound algorithm proposed by Lee et al. also can obtained optimal solutions the same as the results from CPLEX but the CPU time of it for 28 jobs even needs more than 2 hours, thus, the results between them are not compared. According to results of computational tests, it is showed that the proposed model is very effective in solving problems because it can obtain optimal solutions within a short time. Therefore, it is very useful and valuable for decision maker who requires the optimal solutions.

Abstract: Underdeveloped 3D virtual fitting technology was a barrier to apparel e-commerce, especially for the development of online bra trading. Bra cup fitting was most important for bra fitting. Bra cup fitting is decided by the relationship between bra cup and breast volume. There were many breast volume measuring methods , such as anthropometric method, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), mammography, thermoplastic modeling and Archimedes principle. However, these methods cannot be applied to virtual fitting evaluation and apparel e-commerce. The aim of this study was to analyze and compare kinds of br east volume measurement methods, and then proposed a new method based on 3D human body scan data, which can be used in apparel e-commerce. 3D scan imaging method was proposed because it can calculate breast volume from 3D scan data on the Internet. The accuracy of 3D scan imaging method was acceptable by comparing with that of traditional breast volume measurement methods. The development of 3D scan imaging method was the basis of virtual fitting evaluation on breast cup and can promote bra e-commerce.

Abstract: The logistics system of iron-making is a very complex production system, and it is characterized by continuity and discreteness in combination. It is difficult to establish the model of the complex system for a long time. The model of Petri net can not only characterize the structure of complex system, but also can describe the dynamic behavior of it, these features make the Petri net a wonderful tool to build the model of production process. Based on that, this paper sets up the model of the logistics system of iron-making by the Petri net. And then simulate this model by Stateflow which is an ideal tool of simulation. All these works is the foundation for the further analyzing of the logistics system.

Abstract: Searching for exact solutions to nonlinear evolution equations is an important topic in mathematical physics and engineering. Many methods of finding exact solutions have been presented such as the inverse scattering method, algebraic method and so on. In this paper, by using Fan sub-equation method with the help of Maple, several meaningful solutions are obtained including bell shape solutions, trigonometric function solutions, twist shape solutions and Jacobi elliptic function solutions for a class of nonlinear evolution equation. This method can be applied to other nonlinear partial differential equations.

Abstract: This paper presents a novel fault diagnosis method for sensors in air-handling units based on wavelet energy entropy. Instead of directly comparing the numerous data under noise conditions, the wavelet energy entropy deviation is used for the fault detection and diagnosis. The actual Three-level wavelet analysis is used to decompose the measurement data captured from sensors first and then the concept of Shannon entropy is referred to define the wavelet energy entropy. Once the wavelet energy entropy is obtained, whether the sensors are faulty can be confirmed through comparing the deviation of the wavelet energy entropy residual of the measured signal and the estimated one to the preset threshold. Testing results show that the wavelet energy entropy is a sensitive indictor to diagnose the sensor faults. The deviations of wavelet energy entropy of sensors under fault-free conditions and faulty ones all exceed the threshold. The severer the fault is, the larger the residuals of the wavelet energy entropy will be. The results prove that the proposed method is valid and effective for the fault detection and diagnosis of the sensors.
