Abstract: Modal analysis is the important study for high dam seismic design. Lanczos algorithm was used here for iterative computation. The material constitution for structure was established based on fuzzy-stochastic damage mechanics. The result shows that the typical character of Xiludou super arch dam is the unsymmetrical modal shape.

Abstract: The steep slope concrete cast is an important subject for super dam construction and the stability of dam block must be studied to establish the applicable casting plan. The cohesive non-linear model and reduction algorithm on cohesive force and friction coefficient of interface zones were adopted to simulate this case. The analysis discovers that the dam block 23 of Xiluodu arch dam works properly under 3-lift separately casting plan. The opening value and tangential displacement vector from interface of rock-concrete joints are within the margin of safety.

Abstract: The stair is a important structural component. In current design modeling, it is cut from the entire structure as a simple beam. But stairs show serious damages in some earthquake events. It implies that the seismic capacities of stair structures could be not enough when designed as current method. To investigate the seismic behavior and the effect on the structures for the stairs, a 5-story school building is selected as a case. Two structure models are established, including and without stair. First the reinforcement inside the stairs are compared. It shows the current simple method underestimate the loadings. Second the changes in the structure are investigated when adding the stair to the structural model. The stair's participation decreases the vibration period and storey drift, and increases the structural base shear and the internal forces of the members surrounding the stair. So, it is necessary to consider the stair in analyzing models.

Abstract: The existing soil anchor of steel strand encapsulated by cement has many disadvantages such as longer anchorage length, more construction process and not timely bearing load. Contrary to the existing soil anchor, the anchor of inside-soil-opened umbrella type has lots of advantages: simple structure, convenient construction, high bearing capacity, timely anchoring soil. This paper has analyzed the principle of anchorage and jacking force of the soil anchor, also given the estimated equation of the jacking force. The result of experiment shows that the change of the dragging force is not obvious with the increase of the jacking distance, and the frictional force performs linearly with the increase of the jacking distance. So the estimated value of the jacking force anatomizes the practical value.

Abstract: In this paper, the crack width and deflection of a local corroded reinforced concrete beam is investigated. The influence of the rebar corrosion on a concrete beam is analyzed first. Based on the constitutive relationship of the corroded reinforced concrete, the corroded reinforced concrete is regarded as a bond-slip composite beam which is comprised of corroded rebar and concrete. By using the large-scale finite element software ANSYS, a separate reinforced concrete beam model is developed after selecting the reasonable element. By using the proposed model, the positions of the cracks are determined. Moreover, the cracks width and the deflection of the beam at the corroded segment are calculated through using formula and extracting the results data from ANSYS. At last, the results by the standard design of concrete structures (GB50010-2010) and EN1992-1-1:2004[1] are compared through the list, which show the crack width and deflection of the local corroded reinforced concrete beams calculated by ANSYS is feasible.

Abstract: The integration of the facilities for recreation and disaster mitigation is the important concept to ensure “combination of peace time and disaster time” of disaster-mitigation emergency congregate shelters. Taking disasters prevention park as an example, this paper discusses the conversion designs of sheltering site and park land, waterscape and water supply for disaster prevention, woodland and fire proofing belt area, broadcast, communication, electric power and light facilities, park warehouse and the storage of material for disaster prevention, entrance and periphery configuration.

Abstract: In recent years, many earthquakes occurred all over the world and caused different degrees of damage to the engineering structures. Therefore, it is increasingly important to ensure the safety and stability of the port structure and to study the seismic performance of the wharf structure. Considering pile-soil interaction, numerical simulations of high-pile wharf were done by using the finite element method, and the displacements, bending moments and shears of the 7m wharf were obtained subjected to different kinds of earthquake waves, such as far-fault and near-fault seismic waves. The plastic characteristics of the wharfs with different water depths(7m, 10m, 12m) were researched subjected to seismic waves with different peak accelerations and advises for the anti-collapse mechanism of the wharfs were provided.

Abstract: In lights of individual contact features and influenza spreading characteristics, an improved SEIR model, based on individual contacts, is built to study the diffusion of flu in civil airport terminal. Meanwhile, personnel structures and passenger flow features in terminal are analyzed. Under the assistance of simulations on complicated passenger flowing and contacting inside large terminal, on basis of social force model, the extension of influenza pandemic in terminal are modeled. On foundations above, comparative analyses about the effects of several common influenza control measures, according to the process of departure and arrival and flights information of certain domestic terminal, are conducted. This experiment demonstrate that the proposed method is able to provide quantitative evaluations of the affection that “super spreaders” impact on grippe diffusion, as well as accurate examinations of the functions of control measures, compared with traditional SEIR model.

Abstract: For ensuring disaster prevention function of the urban community and residents' life safety in the disaster situation,it investigated the disaster prevention situation of urban community and pointed out the existing disaster risks. Further it carried out region division of emergency evacuation system of urban community, and studied the planning requirements of evacuation road, shelter of disaster-prevention community. It researched 16 indexes to assess the emergency evacuation capacity, it will provide ideas and theory basis for the indexs selection of community disaster prevention system used for urban planning.
