Research on the Nondestructive Detection Technologies for Japanese Abandoned Chemical Weapons in China
Abstract:
This article mainly introduces the nondestructive detection technologies for Japanese abandoned chemical weapons (JACWs) in China. The aim, task and technical requirements of the nondestructive detection for JACWs are discussed in detail. Practical methods and procedure of JACWs nondestructive detection are given by compared and confirmed with some different geophysical exploring technologies. Two key nondestructive detection technologies, the magnetic exploring method and the usage of metal detector, are discussed in details. In the practice of JACWs nondestructive detection, it is proved that these two methods and procedures have advantages such as high efficiency, low risk and low cost.
