Abstract: Before architecture V7, the hardware of ARM microcontroller family does not support division operation. Although it is easy to program on ARM processors with C language which can implement division operation with library functions, the procedure has much trouble and the efficiency is lower when the function code written in C language is called in assembly program. This paper introduces an algorithm for the division operation on ARM7 processor and also gives corresponding subroutines which can be used directly in assembly program design. The algorithm is similar to the operation theory of the digital circuit which uses subtraction circuit to do division operation. The given subroutines can deal with the division operation between two 32-bit unsigned integers and the division between a 64-bit unsigned integer and a 32-bit unsigned integer.

Abstract: Paper proposes a method for detecting general obstacles on a road by subtracting present and past in road cycling camera images. The image-subtraction-based object detection approach can be applied to detect any kind of obstacles although the existing learning based methods detect only specific obstacles. To detect general obstacles, the proposed method first computes a frame-by-frame correspondence between the present and the past in-road cycling camera image sequences, and then registries road surfaces between the frames. Finally, obstacles are detected by applying image subtraction to the redistricted road surface regions with a vision insensitive feature for robust detection. Experiments were conducted by using several image sequences captured by an actual in-road cycling camera to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method. The experimental results shows that the proposed method can detect general obstacles accurately at a distance enough to avoid them safely even with different situations.

Abstract: This paper presents an approach of Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTEthernet, TTE) clock synchronization. Firstly it introduces the roles of each device in clock synchronization algorithm, then analysizes the synchronization steps and their two sub-algorithms: permanence algorithm and compressed algorithm. At last it presents the process of clock correction in different devices.

Abstract: Bridge information is the most basic spatial data to build 3D digital city and virtual earth, and it plays an important role as clues and reference during extraction of other surface targets. The crucial problem is the extraction of the boundary line of the bridge. It is the research focus of many experts and scholars. This paper presented a method of bridge extraction using airborne LiDAR data. The biggest advantage of the method is based on priori-knowledge and by analyzing the spatial structural characteristics and geometric characteristics of the bridge. Experiments show that this method has a good accuracy compared with the result of expert interpretation.

Abstract: Aiming to the special demand of the criminal investigation, a non-invasive and non-contact fingerprint acquisition method is proposed based on digital holography. The off-axis Fresnel digital holography is designed to record the digital hologram. The reconstruction of the complex amplitude from fingerprint is analyzed, and the phase aberration is corrected by the surface fitting based on the least square approach. In the scene of the crime, the fingerprint of suspects is easily left on some smooth surfaces. In the experiments, the CD-ROM disk with fingerprint information is used as the sample. The results show that the amplitude and phase images can be obtained and combined to capture more information of latent fingerprints, which demonstrates digital holography is effective for the acquisition of latent fingerprints and can be applied to the criminal investigation field.

Abstract: In this paper, the driving trajectories of refuse transfer truck and collector truck are tested by GPS data logger. Afterwards, the 15 characteristic values of refuse truck and 12 characteristic values of typical driving cycles are analyzed by velocity fragment characteristic value analysis. Finally, we find that if the highway cycle of C-WTVC is canceled and the ratio of velocity interval 20-60km/h is extended, this driving cycle can be used as the testing cycle of refuse transfer truck. The CCBC cycle can be used as the testing cycle of refuse collector truck.

Abstract: Collaborative design is a significant method to improve the efficiency of complex product development. In order to reinforce the update and synchronize mechanism of the collaborative working environment, relational design techniques are studied. Taking airplane wing as an example, the relations in product design, manufacturing and measurement stages are analyzed and classified into three types: datum reference relation, parameter relation and non-geometric relation. Then the creation and update methods of the relations of each type are discussed respectively, and they are summarized to a uniform user operation pattern. Finally, a relational design tool is developed and applied in a case study, which validates the feasibility of our methods.
