Abstract: In terms of the target announced by Chinese government that in 2020 the carbon intensity in China will have a reduction of 40% - 45%, the main factors affected the carbon intensity are analyzed, the computation method of carbon intensity is obtained, and the decomposition and decision simulation system for carbon intensity target reduction is built. The simulation system consists of two parts, one is the forecast of the future carbon intensity according to the current fuels’ usage, and another is the calculation of fuel quality according to the carbon intensity decomposition. With this system the user can know the forecasting data and decomposition results so as to make corresponding guiding policy.

Abstract: Terrestrial ecosystems as the most important type of ecological system provide humanity with a main part of the living environment, food and clothing. However, many of ecological environmental have been severely damaged by human beings irrational activities, such as mining, deforestation, excavation herbs, etc. Faced with ecological and environmental protection pressure, its urgent to carry out ecological restoration projects according to the local conditions. Remote sensing technology is widely used in terrestrial ecosystems restoration because of its objectivity, real-timing, accuracy, covering a wide area and other unique advantages. This article discusses the restoration of terrestrial ecosystems based on remote sensing technology. At last, it analyses development trends of this research area.

Abstract: Assembly line design is an important part of the production system in manufacturing processes. An assembly line, which consists of a sequence of workstations, is an efficient method of manufacturing high-volume products such as automobile parts and microcomputers. In designing an assembly line, it is common practice to "balance" the line so that a more uniform flow is maintained. The Assembly Line Balancing (ALB) scheduler evaluates the effect of the different online sequence of parts on production cycle, balances workload and utilization ratio, minimizes span of the assembly line. The simulation model approach in this study to obtain the scenarios which are reducing the unbalancing time. The simulator presented herein, named Assembly Line Simulator (ALS), can be used as supporting tool in finding solutions of the assembly line balancing problem. Throughout the scenarios of the optimum method will be chosen which scenario is represented minimum idle time it will be the optimum balance of the assembly line.

Abstract: Hierarchical structure is one of the most ubiquitous structures in various networked complex systems. In order to investigate the properties of the hierarchical structure, a deterministic hierarchical network model is first proposed. The statistical properties of the constructed networks are also discussed. The simulation results prove that the artificial networks simultaneously possess the small-world and scale-free properties well. This may be useful in furthering study of the topology properties of the hierarchical networks in real life.

Abstract: The paper proposes a variant of barcode facility using in tools management process in small enterprises. This is justified because existing software are expensive or the module must be modify according with the enterprises profile. By using MS Office – Excel with Visual Basic for Application, it was create a flexible application.

Abstract: The current paper is to study and obtain the most favorable criteria and sub-factors referred to the material management operations of the cutting edge electronics design manufacturing company in Thailand. The study is a complex problem involving qualitative and quantitative multi-criteria that has been considered in four main clusters consisting of Quality, Cost, Delivery and Productivity. A trade-off between these tangible and intangible factors is essential in selecting the most important factors. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied in prioritizing the clusters and sub-factors with the pairwise comparison technique. The result of proposed framework indicates that can be applied to improve and assist decision-making in choosing the optimal factors combination for the company case study.

Abstract: With the rapid growth of semiconductor industry, manufacturers are always seeking for improvement to produce better product quality with lower cost in order to survive under competitive marketing environment. However, these matters are easily affected by the failures occurred on the machines. Thus, this paper proposes framework using failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) with 5-Whys analysis to discover the root cause of the failure furthermore to identify the effective solutions. Drilling machine has been used to justify the practicability of the proposed framework.

Abstract: Preventive maintenance (PM) is the basic policy in maintenance system and widely used in companies all over the world. However, its advantages are not always fully received by the company because it is not carried out according to prescribed planning and schedule. This is because of improper implementation of the PM that leads to the major problem of increasing number of machine downtime. One of the reasons for the problem is ineffective PM checklist used during the implementation. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to reduce the planned downtime for PM by analyzing and enhancing the PM checklist. This is to show the importance of having good PM checklist as it simplified technicians workload and can reduce machine downtime if conducted properly. Consequently, good PM checklist will show the performances of the technicians doing their tasks as well as the performances of the machines to be operated in good operational condition.

Abstract: The safety evaluation index of subway station operation is established from the passengers, equipments and facilities ability, emergency ability and other aspects. Specific to the limitation the traditional entropy weighting method, the improved vertical and horizontal weighting method is puts forward, and safety evaluation method of the subway station operation based on grey clustering method is proposed. Finally, taking the Beijing subway stations in China as an example, the rationality and reliability of this method is verified.

Abstract: Workflow management system is playing more and more significant role in business process management (BPM) and office automation (OA) of enterprises [. It can improve the efficiency and manageability of an enterprises daily teamwork, control as well as coordinate the processes [. Traditionally, it is not easy for the workflow modeling method to describe the complex business process clearly and intuitively. In this paper we improved the role based workflow model, and proposed a workflow modeling method based on multi-role playing. It is possible to make the modeling easier and simpler when we come to the complex business process modeling problems. Finally, an example of a B/S based Enterprise Financial Reimbursement Management System (EFRMS) is demonstrated to prove the convenience and feasibility about the method mentioned.
