Characterization and Photocatalytic Activity of TiO2 Nanoparticles with Precipitation Method Synthesis

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this experiment, nanotitanium dioxide photocatalyst are prepared by treatment of a mixed solution of TiCl4 and NH3·H2O. The conditions of synthesis catalyst are studied according to drying methods and roasting temperatures. The crystal phase of prepared powders is studied by XRD and FT-IR. At last we discussed photocatalysis activity of TiO2. The results show that the best roasting temperature is 500 °C and the optimal drying method is microwave drying.
