Abstract:

College PE teaching is a weak link in Chinas higher education. The modern information technologies applied in college PE teaching also appears insufficient. PE, as a rather special subject, the special nature of its teaching is also strong. Thus, the special nature of modern information technologies applied in college PE teaching shall also be highlighted. The applications of information technologies in college PE teaching produce positive impacts. However, we also find out that currently, the applications of information technologies in college PE teaching have also caused many misunderstandings and confusions. Many problems have not yet attracted attentions, which has prevented or delayed to different degrees the information technologies from being applied more deeply and extensively in college PE teaching. This essay summarizes and studies on the key points and major problems in information technologies applied in college PE teaching.
