Abstract: During the simulation of global multi-resolution terrain environment, we need to build a multi-resolution terrain data cache pool and use a certain indexing mechanism. Based on the scheme of global data delamination and division by terrain data pyramid model structure, this paper presented a hash indexing algorithm adapted to terrain data block cache, and discussed the keyword design method and the collision solution method. Finally, some experiments on the key questions of hash technique including collision ratio and time cost are carried out.

Abstract: Queries provided by users are usually too fuzzy and simple, which cannot provide sufficient evidence for the book search system to find relevant books. Previous query expansion focused on expanding similar words for query, which may not represent different user real-time interested. Since the user friends and interesting libraries may represent the interesting book types for the user for a certain stage, this paper proposed a novel method by finding expanded words from the books tags marked by user social relations in their personal digital library. This paper presents two query expansion methods: Query expansion based on books tags of user friends; Query expansion based on books tags of user interesting libraries. Experiments on the actual book dataset show that the two methods greatly improve the nDCG@10 values of the search results and the user satisfaction.

Abstract: This paper considers a single machine scheduling problem with deterioration and no inserted idle times. Each job has a due date, a weight and a processing time. The objective is to find an optimal sequence of the set of jobs to minimize the total weighted tardiness. To prevent premature convergence of the optimization algorithm, a genetic tabu search (GTS) algorithm is presented. In the GTS, the mutation operator is implemented with the tabu search method to enhance the local search ability. A fair comparison of genetic operators has been made between GTS and simple GA, and the experimental results show that the GTS considerably outperforms the simple GA.

Abstract: Throughput and berths capacity are two important measures of port operating ability. Based on these two aspects, this paper established port operating index system for Guangdong Province, and made comprehensive evaluation and analysis on 11 large-scale ports in Guangdong. During the evaluation process, the AHP and Gray Incidence Analysis (GIA) methods are combined to exploratory analysis on the port operating ability and development emphasis of each port. The results show that the ranking of throughput aspect or berth capacity are inconsistent with comprehensive ranking result, that is, obvious differences exist between these 11 ports and each of them have their own development priorities, which is reasonable, realistic and in line with the actual situation in Guangdong Province.

Abstract: A portable weather station which is a special made device could get current weather data and contact with the server is proposed. The device could make the weather forecast much more accuracy with the data from the weather forecast and current measurement. The humility sensor, pressure sensor, temperature sensor, GPS module and GPRS module are included in the device. With the GPRS network, the device could connect to server though the internet at any time to upload and download the weather documents. Also, government officials can access the data on the website to manage the current weather data and analysis the weather report on the website. Furthermore, this device could offer weather forecast which meets the special needs for the people in the remote or mountain area.

Abstract: This article discusses the basic principle of how to use Visual Basic6.0 programming language called Surfer8.0 for embedded programming, describe the key technical, give an example of 32 automatic stations of soil moisture map of Fujian Province in China, through VB to call the drawing function of Surfer, full play the grid capacity and drawing functions of Surfer, performance visual graphics data. Display and output the city (county) and site map which can judge and measure the arid locations, will be of great help and guidance, provide scientific basis for the leadership decision-making.

Abstract: In this paper, aim to salt and pepper noise, a new detect algorithm is proposed. GA-BPN algorithm uses Genetic Algorithm (GA) to decide weights in a Back Propagation neural Network (BPN)(GA-BPN).In this paper, we used Genetic Algorithm Back Propagation neural Network GA-BPN to do image noise detect work. Firstly, this paper uses training samples to train a GA-BPN as noise detector. Then, we utilize the well-trained GA-BPN to recognize noise pixels in target image. Experiment data shows that this algorithm has good performance.

Abstract: By the influence of changes in ambient parameters and operating conditions and changing parameter values LDS is changing their properties (behavior), reflected also in changes in characteristics, it is also possible to formulate an opposite role: "To what extent can be changed system parameters, to reached its behavior (under certain criteria) remained preserved " The answer to this question deals with the task of determining allowable changes - tolerance parameters for the desired behavior. Criteria for the behavior may be different. We will build on the stability criteria by Routh - Schur. Methodology makes use of computer simulation of classical mathematical analysis.

Abstract: This paper introduces a method for optimal reactive power compensation considering SVC. Static load margin of each node is calculated and then sorted to determine the location of reactive power compensation. To know the optimal compensating capacity, the mathematical model of fuzzy multi-objective is established, and it can be solved by the primal-dual interior point algorithm. The proposed method is applied to a grid of Northwest China with satisfactory results.

Abstract: How to simulate open and short circuit nonlinear transformer on the condition that excitation impedance is vary with voltageFited equations of excitation resistance and magnetizing reactance vs input voltage according to experimental data of no-load transformer.Calculated short circuit parameters .Solved directly phasor equations of electromotive force and magnetomotive force equilibrium according to the fited equations and short circuit parameters using Mathematica software. Simulation can simulate experiment of open and short circuit transformer dynamically,and also can draw no-load and short circuit characteristics curve accurately. Simulation results have verified the efficiency of the method. It will increase the efficiency of transformer experiment or design.
